Secret Star Trek: "Nine in a Line"

As some of you may know, the town of Vulcan in Alberta has made itself the Star Trek mecca of the world.

But it was once famous for something else:

By 1921, Vulcan was able to claim town status, which still exists to this day. Vulcan quickly became famous for it’s “Nine in a Line”, nine elevators able to store more than 750,000 bushels of grain. Pictures of these elevators were published in newspapers, national magazines, and on calendars everywhere.
Vulcan’s “Nine in a Line” boasted the greatest grain storage capacity in Canada until a disastrous fire in 1971. Today’s agriculture related business remains the town’s biggest employer, with more than 1700 people calling Vulcan home.
