The 2022 World Cup is upon us, much to the delight of the world and the crushing indifference of uncultured Yanks like myself. And since it is indeed 2022, the goings-on are positively drenched in the high ritualism of the worldwide Watcher cult. 

All slathered with a thick and viscous glaze of Knowles' First Law, of course.

13 Movies You Won't Be Watching This Halloween (But Should)


It's one of life's paradoxes: a lot of my favorite movies are generally classified as Horror, but Horror as a genre usually bores me. It's kind of the same way with me and Heavy Metal. See, the problem when you get to my age is that you've heard and seen it all before. And usually heard and seen it done a lot better.  

And nothing sucks quite as hard as bad Horror or bad Metal.
