Credit Where Synchromystic Credit is Due

A recent discussion on the Rigorous Intuition board had a few posters accusing Jake Kotze and myself of "plagiarizing" Goro Adachi of Etemenanki fame. Regrettably, Goro himself has had some unkind things to say about Jake Kotze on his site, accusing him of all sorts of nefarious acts, plagiarism the least of them.

The Age of Horus: Hancock, Part I


Little did I realize... The same day I posted the first installment of "Space/Gods," the Will Smith superhero-as-god film Hancock was released on DVD. To mark the occasion, the logic board on my new iMac crapped out just minutes after I posted. As it turns out, the gods of Synchronicity apparently wanted to get my full attention.

The very worrying new Keanu Reeves film is going to be (Heavenly) beamed into space:

The Day The Earth Stood Still — the movie about aliens coming to Earth to wipe out mankind is going to be broadcast into space. The director of the new remake, Scott Derrickson, doesn't want to be blamed for aliens landing on Earth after they see his movie.
