Well, quite an eventful month so far. Especially in the context of signs, wonders and portents. As well as things in the Heavens finding mirrors here on Earth.

Flame on the Crown of Her Influence

The landmark Notre Dame cathedral in Paris was heavily damaged by fire yesterday. Happily, much of the structure is intact and many of the priceless works of art had either been previously moved or were rescued. 

It took a very long time to build this architectural masterwork, and it will take a long time to repair it. Donations are already being made for its restoration.

There Goes the Sun

Well, it's quite brisk around these parts, my friends. I find it rather invigorating with the sun shining, somewhat less so when it's overcast. And if the trend-lines hold I'll probably have adjusted my opinions rather considerably in a few weeks or so.

All the more so if the Bond-villain schemes spewing out of Harvard University (the time-honored spawning ground of many an aspiring Bond-villain scheme) come to fruition.

I'm still collating the information we're hearing coming out of Thailand concerning the rescue of a boys' soccer team and their coach from a cave that was flooded by monsoon rains. I'm not going on record with any of this quite yet but we're seeing quite a lot of ritual and symbol tied up in all of this, both overt and perhaps somewhat less so.

Which makes perfect sense given the way things have been going this year.
