Kyle Andrew Odom is a decorated U.S. Marine who served from 2006 to 2010. After his military service, he earned a degree in biochemistry at the University of Idaho. And on March 6, 2016, he was arrested for shooting Pastor Tim Remington outside the nondenominational Altar Church in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho.Strangely enough, Remington had made the news the day before he was shot: he delivered the invocation at a rally for Republican presidential candidate Ted Cruz.Following the shooting, Odom flew to Washington, D.C., where he was arrested after throwing a duffel bag containing a copy of his manifesto and a flash drive over the White House fence. ' Odom’s manifesto claimed the planet was under the secret control of a race of amphibious Martians who are spiritually possessing human beings, and controlling the planet. Odom claimed that Pastor Remington was among those "Martians," and mentioned numerous members of Congress and government officials by name.
