Ten Thirteen: Medusa, or Hiram Abiff Takes the T

The larger part of the Delta Cycle retelling in The X-Files began with the episode "Per Manum' and then took off with "This is Not Happening," which I think is the greatest single episode in the series' history. But immediately before "Per Manum" was "Medusa," which I never could wrap my head around.

Ten Thirteen: "The Search for God"


This past weekend, Chris Carter reiterated that The X-Files was "about the search for God." Interesting statement for a show about the search for extraterrestrial life. What did Chris Carter happen to discover about God in this search?

I was wondering why I put in my observation about the hidden 33 in the Bank of America logo in my Oscar sync post, but it turned out to be quite prescient; the entire stage set was filled with pairs and sets of threes.
