NXIVM: Buckle Up and Enjoy the Ride.

So this NXIVM sex cult story just keeps getting uglier and weirder. Allison Mack, the co-star of the long-running Smallville TV series has been thrown to the wolves and is reportedly angling for a plea deal.

Oscar Recap: Yeah, Yeah, Osiris. We Get It.

Well, another year, another Academy Awards. And another pile of clunky, ham-fisted symbolism dropped on our heads.

Jimmy Kimmel, who used to run around asking random women to reach around in his pants pockets on a show that usually went to credits running footage of buxom young girls jumping on a trampoline, is a "woke" intersectionalist all of a sudden and shot up some fish in a barrel with his obligatory yet bloodless Harvey Weinstein jokes.

Jimmy, it would have been edgy to tell Harvey Weinstein jokes last year. This year it's just pathetic.

Pre-gaming the 90th Annual Osiris Awards

Well, it's that time of year again: time to marvel at the increasingly-obsessive and progressively explicit symbolism of the Academy Awards, aka the Oscars, aka the Ausurs, aka the Osiris Awards.

This is the World in Which You Live Now.

Huh. I guess those of us who had our misgivings about the narrative being spun out of Parkland were proven right. Yet again.

Yet again. I guess we'll have to make do with the sense of accomplishment, however.

"These are the Names of the Vegas Who Watch..."

The Phylax phugazi continues to grow more ridiculous by the day. No one can seem to get their stories straight.

First it was the Golden Dawn who pulled the Watcher off his Pedestal of Veneration, then it was changed to "far-rightists" when someone informed the hapless authorities that the Golden Dawn are actually anti-Christian neopagans.

Sounds like a psyop run by Sterling Archer.

From Ausur to Oscar.

Well, it's that time of the year again. Yes, 3/7/10 is here, a clever little cryptogram for 3/17, the date of the death of Osiris. No surprise then that tonight we have the Ausurs Oscars, aka the Academy Awards.

Oscars Update: The Semiotics of Celluloid

I've been very busy with work, but I wanted to do an Oscar follow-up. Esoteric themes seem to multiplying in Hollywood at an astonishing rate, and the follow-up projects we see this year's winners involved in reflect this trend.

Benjamin Button and the Babylon Gate, part II

So much of the symbolism that I've studied over the years pertaining to this overarching esoteric tradition deals with reversal of time. Jim Marrs seemed to pick up on these meme when he wrote Rule By Secrecy in reverse chronological order.

Benjamin Button and the Babylon Gate, pt. I

Oh look, isn't this timely? The Iraqi National Museum has reopened, the day after the Oscars.

The Iraq Museum, which has stood at its present location since 1966, last year completed the renovation of its Islamic and Assyrian halls, thanks to a one-million-euro (1.1 million dollar) donation and technical help from Italy.

(Slum)Dog Star, the Reborn Sun and the Scarlet Women

Beam me up, Horus.

I'm getting a damn laptop. I had the brilliant idea to live-blog the Oscars even though my TV and my computer are in separate parts of the house. Well, even so it was a blast for all involved and I got some much-needed exercise.

"The Green Oscars"

I was wondering why I put in my observation about the hidden 33 in the Bank of America logo in my Oscar sync post, but it turned out to be quite prescient; the entire stage set was filled with pairs and sets of threes.

Synch Log: Oscar/Osiris

I'm sure many of you will be tuning into the Oscars (aka the Ausurs) tonight, but perhaps after my recent post you can use your secret ritual decoder ring during the proceedings. My prediction for Best Actor is none other than Chris Kelvin himself.

Osiris, the Oscars and the Babylon Gate

The Academy Awards certainly don't seem to have the same cultural cache they once did, but we can say the same about Hollywood itself. But it wasn't always this way.
