Seattle. It Had to Be Seattle

Three years ago, I began posting obsessively about a bunch of seemingly-unconnected weirdness that most people thought was utterly absurd and irrelevant but I felt was somehow incredibly significant. And the city of Seattle was a central piece of the puzzle, for reasons I couldn't yet figure out.

But I think the picture is becoming a little clearer now.

Mermaid Apocalypse: Social Engineering through Memetic Overkill

A lot of people have asked me over the past ten years how you can tell if a symbol-set is circulating through the culture through synchronistic means as opposed to being injected into the culture by conscious design.

NXIVM: Buckle Up and Enjoy the Ride.

So this NXIVM sex cult story just keeps getting uglier and weirder. Allison Mack, the co-star of the long-running Smallville TV series has been thrown to the wolves and is reportedly angling for a plea deal.

Snapshots from the Apocalypse: Transgenics are Go!

There are a number of emerging themes and a new palette of symbols coming out of the Great Unveiling, which is now well underway. The Never-Ending Ritual: "Adorned with Garlands"

Houston, Harvey, Twin Peaks and the Siren

Over the past several weeks I've been looking at the events that followed in the wake of Chris Cornell's death and the revival of Twin Peaks, which occurred within days of each other.

The Siren Song of the Assassin

Well, here we are in the midst of yet another synchro-storm laden with Siren and Sibylline symbolism.

From Dragon*Con to Dragon Cult

Well, the vacation I had planned all year for turned out to be quite the disaster when I caught a good dose of a summer flu that's been going around. It knocked me flat on my ass for a good week and put the Dragon*Con trip in doubt.

"Mouse Kontrol Ultra": Adam Curtis, Massive Attack & the Sibyl

Massive Attack onstage in Manchester

2019 seems to be recognized as a pivotal year of some kind by a number of different observers so I guess it's appropriate that Massive Attack is taking its Mezzanine 21st Anniversary extravaganza out on the road, along with MK-Ultra's own Adam Curtis furnishing the visuals.

"Orange Has Always Been Ours"

So I'm hearing some grumbling that things are moving too fast around here and folks are having trouble keeping up. Believe me, I know the feeling.

The Illusion of Change

I think I need to amend Knowles' First Law, or add a new paragraph thereto.

Mermaid Apocalypse: Meet Your New Gods, Part One

Oh, you still think this Mermaid thing is just a fad, like vampires and zombies? You poor soul. It will probably pain you to discover that this isn't about some fad, it's about the new religion.

Well, Happy Belated Summer Solstice to all you Northern Hemishere Secret Sunners out there. Hope you enjoyed it, if that's your particular bag. If not, well hey; buy yourself something nice today.

Cue the Eighties Soundtrack.

Is the endless Seventies tapeloop finally over? Are we reliving the early Eighties again now? Was Stranger Things somehow a harbinger of the changeover of the selections in the Replay Machine?

Swamp Things and Strange Angels

Marvel John Whiteside Parsons, who no one outside of a small handful of weirdos had ever even heard of until very recently, is the subject of a new prestige series based on the biography written by George Pendle.

Persephone, the Strawberry Girl

As Secret Sun readers all realize, the old gods are back at their desks after a long vacation. Well, call it a working vacation.
