He Will Live Up in the Sky

Good Lord willing and if the crick don't rise, I'll be getting my debut novel He Will Live Up in the Sky into your hungry little hands 1Q 2019. To celebrate I'm posting a year-end preview for all my Sunners out there.

Seeing as how I'm a major proponent of the "dance with the one what brung ya" concept, He Will Live Up in the Sky will cover familiar ground to Sunners; remote viewing, UFOs, cults, MKULTRA shenanigans, technocracy, the Greater Boston metro area, rock 'n' roll, and of course, the Nineties.

I hope you have as much fun reading this as I had writing it.

Stairway to Kevin

The other big story this week was this weird viral video posted by Kevin Spacey. Portraying his character from House of Cards, Spacey is either letting us know he's lost his last remaining marbles or he's issuing a coded threat to his fellow BLs in Tinseltown. A threat stating, "If I go down, I'm taking all of you with me."

I Don't Belong Here (and Neither Do You)

A movie I think Secret Sun readers need to watch recently popped up on Amazon Prime. So to mark the occasion, I've revised a review I did on the film upon its release and expanded it to fold in some related films and topics.

After all, what gives you that homey, Yuletide glow more than some home-brewed high weirdness and fresh-baked AstroGnosticism, just like your Grandma used to make?

Sync or Swim Tsunami: 2012 --> Apocalypse Then?

Sometimes when you pull on a thread, the whole sweater unravels.

I hear some people saying now that the world really did end in 2012 and we are all now living in a malfunctioning simulacrum.

Internet crazy-talk, am I right?

Well, some new information presented itself--harking back to 2012-- that I have to share with you. I'm not going to say it bolsters this new theory but then again I'm not going to not say it doesn't, either.

Annihilation Reality: Pray for Us Shimmers

Well, we're coming up on awards season. As of yet, I haven't seen the chilling docudrama Annihilation nominated for any major awards. Maybe it shouldn't have been so closely associated with Netflix or maybe it should have just dropped the "dramatization" bit and done a straight documentary.

Or maybe gone a little lighter on the dubsteb sound effects, I don't know.

There Goes the Sun

Well, it's quite brisk around these parts, my friends. I find it rather invigorating with the sun shining, somewhat less so when it's overcast. And if the trend-lines hold I'll probably have adjusted my opinions rather considerably in a few weeks or so.

All the more so if the Bond-villain schemes spewing out of Harvard University (the time-honored spawning ground of many an aspiring Bond-villain scheme) come to fruition.

Space/Gods: Bennu and the Jets

Lots of activity up in space this week, allegedly. And right on time we have some NASA guy talking about aliens and UFOs, which in turn will be followed by the usual walkbacks and denials. We all know the drill, we've heard it a hundred times before. It's how the NASA nerds get their little jollies.

I mean, I think it's kind of tired but the government doesn't give me tens of billions of dollars to piss away every year, do they?

PseudoScience Friday: Maybe Tomorrow, Maybe Someday

Well, the P.T. Barnum Memorial Permanent Moon Base Roadshow pulled into town again and performed its song and dance for bored reporters. I'm not sure why this old saw was pulled out of the toolbox but it seems to me this act plays to smaller crowds every time it takes the stage.

Guess it's true. You can't fool all of the people all of the time.

Apocalyptic Talking Points: Gene Genies

If the reports are to be believed, a Chinese scientist created the first gene-edited babies and of course they're Twins. Twin girls, to be precise.

The only people caught off guard by all this are those poor, benighted souls who don't read The Secret Sun. I'm thinking of starting a GoFundMe for them.

The Ice Age is Coming, the Sun's Zooming In

I woke up this morning and my phone informed me that it was 12ºF outside. I think that roughly translates to -70ºC or something.

I dunno, I suck at math. But I think you get the idea.

Satan is in Season: From Celine to Sabrina

You've probably seen some articles on this bizarre advertisement for Celine Dion's (literally: "Moon Goddess") new gender-neutral clothing line. It's every bit as weird and unsettling as you heard it was, but guess what?

It's 2018 and this is where we are now.

Stan Lee & The Twilight of the Immortals

One of the big recent stories was Stan Lee passing away at the enviable age of 95. I can't properly size up the effect Stan had on my own life and certainly not the influence he had on the culture at large. He, more than anyone, is responsible for the development of the superhero as icon and the rise of fan culture today.

PseudoScience Friday: We'll Leave the Lights On For You

Well, there you have it. I'm not sure exactly what to think about this here: is this just more clickbait from the pop-science-site crowd, just one of an endless series of junk stories that come and go without ever amounting to anything? Is this laser omnidirectional or two-way, meaning can information (like, say, encoded genomes) be sent back and forth upon it?

Or is this some kind of signal to let the Vegas know that the groundwork's been laid and the Earth's now ready for invasion? Cast your vote in the comments.

Sabrina Destroys Minds & Reaps Souls

Do you come here OFTEN?

I don't exactly understand the mechanics of spellcraft and I'm not sure anyone else does either. Is it simply the power of suggestion? Is it a kind of mind control? Is it somehow based in non-supernatural but super-normal psychic powers?

I don't know and to be honest, I don't much care. I don't really worry too much the exact science of microprocessors when I use the Internet. I'm just interested in the results.

Knock, Knock. Who's There? It. It Who? It Never Ends.

Well, 'Oumuamua continues to vex star-watchers. The Vegas' mothership anomalous space-projectile seems to behave in very strange ways, leading scientists at Harvard University to conclude that it may in fact be a dislodged solar sail from an extraterrestrial galactic probe.

Ever get the feeling that sciences like astronomy were invented to keep really smart people too busy to cause trouble? Y'know, kinda like Synchromysticism?

Saturday, November 03, 2018

Roses are Red, Violets are Blue, It Never Ends.

Well, it's been nearly a year and a half since Soundgarden frontman Chris Cornell died on the Detroit River and there's been a never-ending rollercoaster ride of highly nutritious synchery ever since. And since timing is everything, we keep getting hit over the head with what I like to call the "emerging archetypal dominants" on account of it being the Great Unveiling and all.

So it's only natural that the Apollo Chris Cornell statue was unveiled today, and the festivities were bathed in an eerie glow of Violaine.

"Repurposed as a Mechanism for Public Ritual."

Well, here we are yet again. Apparently the Siren Songs in Hobart and Perth were just warmups, because now the same folks behind those explicit and self-acknowledged public rituals have brought their act to England. Ipswich, Suffolk, England to be precise.

Calling Up the Devil and Asking Him to Behave

Well, it's been quite a week. Seems like I've been saying that a lot lately. But despite the atrocity and upheaval, it's also been an elucidating week, in that some persistent delusions have been shattered.

One of those delusions is that you can summon demons and expect them to do your bidding.

It's No Game

There's so much stupid out there that sometimes it gets pretty hard to figure out which particular flavor of stupid takes the cake. But my vote goes to all these idiots who dick around with black magic in hopes of scoring virtue points with Twitter bluechecks.

Apocalypse 2night: Compute-Compute-Computer Games

OK, you've probably seen this video by now. I'm going to go out on a limb and say this looks fake as f**k to me. It just looks like mediocre CGI. I'm not seeing any compelling evidence that this thing exists as a complex machine in three-dimensional space with this alleged robot, and certainly not as it comes onscreen.

It's not even that it looks like someone in a suit, it just looks like the most talented kid in your local high school computer animation lab showing off to that girl he's sweet on.

We Can't Say We Weren't Warned

I've been going on and on about X-Files Reality (XFR) since I started this blog, but lately? Well, lately it's gotten so egregious that pointing out how X-Files our so-called reality is becoming almost seems beside the point. Plus, kind of unsettling.

I mean, we just took a deep dive into X-Files Reality just a few weeks ago and already there's a whole new batch of XFR to sort through.

But I do have to admit it was a lot more fun when we all thought The X-Files was science fiction. Especially all that stuff about weaponized bees being engineered to spread gene-edited viruses, like smallpox.

The Never-Ending Ritual: Play Ba'al

Well, there it is. Kind of says it all, don't you think

You just gotta laugh. Because if you don't, you could well go mad.

The Last Wave

As the cold civil war rages on in Washington, the war for survival makes an utter mockery of our pathetic delusions that we could ever even dream of becoming the masters of this domain.

We're simply reaping the benefits of a vanishingly-brief armistice in the war Stepmother Nature has been waging since before Time began.

Scientific Meth-OD: Birth Bags & Ballyhoo

In a related story, I hear folks are fixing to use them computer gimcracks pretty soon. And I also hear they're talking about sending the television picture shows through wires, like Ma Bell or something. Ain't that just the living end?

That Joker Isn't Funny Anymore

Well, Secret Sun September may be winding down now but it seems it still has a few surprises left for us. The latest is the release of makeup tests for the new Joker standalone movie, which will be starring Joaquin Phoenix in the titular role.

"Extreme Witchcraft"

Dolphins again...

OK, so I'm really trying to get this monster of a tome I've been writing for the past three years put to bed.
Meanwhile, let's take a quick glance at what's going on in the alleged "outside world" (sic).

Sunspots on My Shoulders

Obelisk much?

Well, the mysterious closing of the Sunspot Observatory in New Mexico has been followed by an equally mysterious reopening. It's not every day a Federal installation is evacuated under military orders and left deserted for several days.

But this is 2018 and the rulebooks for normal have been delisted, shadowbanned and deleted.

KIller Clowns from Other Space

I've been trying to wrap my head around the events of the past two weeks, on account it seems like somebody might have opened a Gate or broken a Seal somewhere. I'm still waiting for some fresh shoes to drop so please bear with me while the apocalyptic cake bakes.

Friday, September 14, 2018

"It Looked Like Armageddon"

.
A lot of readers asked my opinion of the Sunspot observatory closing. Truth be told it was tough to comment on since there was so little information to actually comment about. And as we do around here, I was looking for the tendrils leading to a bigger beast.
.
And it all got thrown into perspective
on Thursday, at least for me.

Apocalypse Like Sugar: Links Like Sugar

Apocalypse Like Sugar

Hey, are you busy? Can I borrow you for a few minutes?

Yeah, I got a few little syncs you might find interesting. Y'know, just for grins and giggles. Go on, take a click. It'll be a hoot and a holler, I guarantee.

Don't be shy, now...

Keep Rollin', Rollin', Rollin' (Down the River Styx)

Well, that Old Devil Time strikes again and takes another giant away off the boards. Burt Reynolds had what you might call a checkered career but when I was a kid he was nothing less than what nearly every red-blooded American male aspired to become.

Burt Reynolds was the alpha-male's alpha male. He was a boss's boss.

Scientific Meth-OD: Saints & Shimmers

Well, I told you Annihilation was nonfiction.

Did you listen? No, of course not. No one listens to me.

Kneeling Before Very Strange Gods

New Yorkers praying to Coatlicue. In New York.

Today's the 101st anniversary of Jack Kirby's birth. Yes, yes; I realize I missed his centennial but there might have been a few other things going on at the time, no?

But it finally dawned on me that Kirby and fellow oracle Elizabeth Fraser's birthdays are back-to-back (I'm slow like that) and there's probably a deeper astrological meaning behind it. But since I can barely even remember the Zodiac, I'll leave that analysis to the experts.

However, I'd be remiss if I didn't drop the whole Regulus in Virgo business here again, seeing as how Kirby's nickname was "King" and that Our Lady's namesake was known as "the Virgin Queen."

Apocalypse 2Night: Come, Armageddon, Come.

I never got the whole Dario Argento thing. I mean, I get it; I realize why hipsters would be drawn to his work. It's "stylish" and "surreal" and "transgressive." If you like that sort of thing.

Me, I just find his film-making clunky and more than a bit mentally-sick. And not in a tormented visionary way, more in a Doc and Mharti or Boiled Angel kind of way. It's more like the aesthetic of John Wayne Gacy's clown paintings transliterated to film, for me at least.

Thursday, August 23, 2018

On Earth as it is in Heaven. Or Las Vegas.

Man, here it is being World Regulus Day and none of you folks even sent me a card. That really hurts my feelings, y'know.

I mean, not even an eCard? After all I do for you? Cold.

2018 VMAs: Lip-Synching in Babylon

Babylon is back, baby!

The music-counterfeiting wing of the Entrainment Industry sent their finest lipsynchers to lower Manhattan's Nephilim Cathedral Oculus to attend the prestigious Golden Freemason Awards.

Pop's biggest brainwashed mannequins names vied for Most Entraining Corporate Music-Adjacent Simulacrum in a diverse range of music-counterfeiting categories, ranging from fake Hip-Hop to fake R&B to fake Pop.

CRISPRs from the Black Lagoon

I saw a funny story the other day. Apparently a bunch of scientists at Oxford declared that not only is Earth life unique in the galaxy, it's unique in the Universe.

I'm guessing they know this because they've been there themselves.

The (Secret) Space Force & the Never-Ending X-Files LARP

Just how weird are these times we are living in? Well, they're so weird that there's a new branch of the military in the works called the "Space Force." Now, I've talked quite a bit about "Starfleet Reality" and the Star Trek timeline but I never thought things would go this far this fast.

And by that I mean I figured all the toys they've been working on out in the Nevada desert would stay in the black until conditions necessitated their unveiling. Goes to show what I know.

Not a lot.

Friday, August 10, 2018

Space Farce. Nothing but Space Farce.

For reasons no one can seem to fathom, the Trump Administration launched the rumored Space Force branch of the military thereby officially kicking off the Age of Militarized Space, at least the overt phase in that program.

VP Mike Pence was tapped to make the announcement, just in case anyone might mistake this all as just another skit in the ongoing Donald Trump Variety Hour. No, this is serious as a heart attack. And I can't help but wonder who the intended receiver for this unambiguously-bellicose transmission really is here.

But not all that much.

The Future is Freemale

Vogue, who've been at the forefront in driving the Pearl meme this year, are featuring guest-editor Beyonce Knowles-Carter for their September cover. And lo and behold, Mystery BeyBalon took the opportunity to crown herself with Garlands.

Secret Sun readers expect nothing less.

I Want to See You Dance on the Blood-Dimmed Tide

As you probably tell from those dreadful Orange skies, California is on fire. Yet again.

The Dreadful Orange Skies

Orange skies in the morning,
Mithras Nymphus take warning

Well, this is fascinating: after almost a year of Orange shirts and Orange skyscrapers here, there and everywhere, one can't help but wonder if someone or something somewhere has decided to return our calls.

Or do I have it all backwards?

The Titans Which Kept Not Their Seasons in the Abyss

"Its original and rightful rulers, the Titans"

Well, the San Diego Comicon just wrapped and fresh waves of trailer trash are upon us.

What's more, it seems we have a fresh meme to factor into our exegeses. First up is the Godzilla, King of the Monsters trailer.

The Never-Ending Rituals: 1-2-Dewdrop Rocks

Well, we're almost halfway through summer and the Secret Sunification of "Reality" quote-unquote continues apace. I apologize in advance. Without further ado let's proceed to this week's liturgy.

Turn to the all-important page 44 of your hymnals...

Magical Wars of Succession

Shortly after high noon on the 17th, Donald Trump addressed the media over the firestorm raised by the intelligence community over the Helsinki summit, ostensibly to walk back statements he made at the Helsinki summit. Not long after Trump began speaking, the lights in the conference room went out, "accidentally" turned off by Chief of Staff John Kelly.

You won't believe what happened next!

It's a Pearly Dewdrop The Rock

Everyone loves The Rock. You love him, I love him, America loves him, the world loves him. Hell, even my dog loves The Rock. Yours probably does too.

Time and Thai, or Please Come Home for Mithras

I'm still collating the information we're hearing coming out of Thailand concerning the rescue of a boys' soccer team and their coach from a cave that was flooded by monsoon rains. I'm not going on record with any of this quite yet but we're seeing quite a lot of ritual and symbol tied up in all of this, both overt and perhaps somewhat less so.

Which makes perfect sense given the way things have been going this year.

Friday, July 06, 2018

Infotrainment Week: Hunk of Burning Love

Well, it looks like the Wicker Man meme isn't going anywhere any time soon. I wish it would; the Nic Cage travesty nearly ruined the original for me.

But what exactly is the pretext here?

All These Things Must Come to Pass

Hello friends. Are you enjoying the Secret Sunification of the entire world?

You aren't?
Well, just don't say I didn't warn you.

Supernovas and Star Sorcery

The glowing Orb is officially a thing. We keep seeing it in odd places, most recently this enigmatic music video from Ariana Grande (with a guest appearance by Nikki Minaj, who seems to be fraying a bit at the edges lately).

NXIVM: Spies, Cylons and Sex Cults

What we were just saying about the inevitable return of public human sacrifice? It looks as if The Telegraph is helping plant those subliminal seeds in the mass mind.

That's awesome. Because there isn't enough ritual-sacrifice symbolism out there in the media already.

Friday, June 22, 2018

Serpents, Sirens, Solstices and Supernovas

Well, Happy Belated Summer Solstice to all you Northern Hemishere Secret Sunners out there. Hope you enjoyed it, if that's your particular bag. If not, well hey; buy yourself something nice today.

And whether the Solstice is your bag or not, I hope everyone had a lovely day and enjoyed the remaining time we have left before Solstice celebrations become mandatory.

Shimmer Me Timbers: Annihilation Reconsidered

Well, in the grand Secret Sun tradition I am finally getting around to posting my thoughts on Annihilation, the recent(ish) sci-fi film starring Natalie Portman, Jennifer Jason Leigh and Tessa Thompson.

The TL;DR? I liked the film quite a bit. But I probably would have liked it quite a bit more if it were fiction.

Nephilim and I Can't Get Up

Go eff yourself, Science

As usual it's been a week filled with syncs, signs and signals.  So much so that it's time to drag out the card table, serve up the artisanal cheese puffs and strawberry-wheat microbrews and play a few rounds of Secret Sun Scrabble.

And why not? Everyone else out there seems to be.

Thursday, June 14, 2018

I'm Looking Through a Hole in the Sky

There's no letup in the action around Secret Sun Central. I have a huge and growing backlog of posts to finish and the symbols and syncs show no signs of slowing down. I do want to try to hammer all of this into some kind of coherent exegesis but you gotta fish while they're biting. There's always time to filet it all later.

Keep Me from the Gallows Pole

Judging by the avalanche of articles in the past few days you'd think that the Supreme Overlord of the United Galactic Confederation died, not just a prickly but charismatic and well-regarded celebrity chef and TV host.

Anthony Bourdain seems to have been extremely important to certain parties for reasons you and I are not necessarily read in on.

UPSET! Washington Jupiters Defeat Vega's Golden Templars!

Hockey, so often the red-headed stepchild of pro sports, became a huge story with the rise of the Vegas Golden Knights expansion team and last night's victory of the Washington Capitals, who've never won the Stanley Cup in their 44-year history.

Cthulhu's Stepchildren: Horrors from the Deep

Those Old Ones were gone now, inside the earth and under the sea; but their dead bodies had told their secrets in dreams to the first men, who formed a cult which had never died. -- HP Lovecraft, "The Call of Cthulhu"

It's (Mermaid) Apocalypse Now!

We shall swim out to that brooding reef in the sea and dive down through black abysses to Cyclopean and many-columned Y’ha-nthlei, and in that lair of the Deep Ones we shall dwell amidst wonder and glory for ever.
- HP Lovecraft, "The Shadow Over Innsmouth"

"Orange Has Always Been Ours"

So I'm hearing some grumbling that things are moving too fast around here and folks are having trouble keeping up.

Believe me, I know the feeling.

Color Me Entrained

Here we go, kids; Orange is in the air. The all-purpose color is bustin' out all over, but especially so with the gun control movement this weekend.

The air's gone quite a bit out of the Parkland Pearlies' tires, probably because the Broward County Sheriff's department has proven itself to be an utter shitshow of mind-numbing corruption and incompetence. Messes with the narrative a bit.

But there's an awful lot of money behind this movement so the show must go on regardless.

The Never-Ending Ritual: "Adorned with Garlands"

As per usual there's more to cover than there's time to cover it, so forgive me if I just drop some rapid-fire syncs and factoids on you and open up the floor.

Today, of course, is Garlands Day, the traditional day of sacrifices to the gods of the waters, and there is so much going on out there my head is stuck on spin-cycle.

The Gaslighting Will Continue Until Morale Improves

Was this a wedding or a gaslighting on a scale heretofore unseen? Yeah, I realize these events are usually ubiquitous and tinfoil-chewingly irritating, but I don't know. There's something off about this one.

The Royal Scam: Fire on Babylon

OK, this is going to be some hit and run Synchromysticism. There's a lot to sort through and I don't have a lot of time so let's do this. Feel free to expand and expound in the comments section. I'll try to revisit this story if I can spare a few.

But yeah, this thing just keeps on shootin' out the synchery, so much so that I wonder what we're really seeing here. I get the feeling it's going somewhere weird and dark.
