The Kansas Swifty Chiefs Win the Šurpu Ba'al? Shocking! Improbable!

Patrick Mahomes letting you know who he really answers to. He's quite proud of it. Why wouldn't he be? He's paid very well for his service.

NFL-im Fever: Orange You Gonna Watch the Šurpu Bowl?

Well, it's that time of year, folks: time for the NFLim to put on their Big Game, Šurpu Bowl LVI. This year features the Cincinnatus Aions vs. the Los Anakim Amuns. In other words, the Saturnians vs. the Jupiterians.

"Like the Most High": Cracking the Vega-Cygnus Code

You may be one of those people who thinks they live in an ordered and rational universe, and not a roiling hothouse of magic, mysticism, and sorcery.

You may think you live in a world where people in high places are preoccupied with petty trifles like money and power, and not with kicking the struts out from underneath the entire edifice of Creation and rebuilding the rubble into their own image.

I'll see what I can do to help you with that. I'm not here to judge.

Super Bowl 2021: a Weeknd in Las Vegas

Twin Brady led the Templar Bay Buccaneers to their Twinth Super Bowl win, along with fellow former New England Baphomet Rob Gronkowski. The Templar defense held the Kansas City Secret Chiefs to a measly (council of) nine points, or one for every Super Bowl Twin Brady has played in. Note 12+87=99.

It was indeed an exciting day for the NFLim and Twins everywhere.

Squeezed by Burning Fingers

Ferris F. Biden's Inauguration was like old home week for The Secret Sun. After a four-year interlude in which the requisite rites of state were not properly observed by the churlish usurpers, the restored regime let it be known in no uncertain terms that the days of blood and fire are back.

And who better to kick off the festivities than Katheryn Elizabeth Hudson, known to the wider world as Katy Perry?

Esoteric Exhaustion Syndrome: When Ritual Becomes Rote

Siren Christ Pose?

There's a reason rituals fall out of favor: they really get to be exhausting after a while.

There was such a spate of mass rituals following on the Gotthard Tunnel production -- or the 2012 Olympics, if you want to trace it back to when things really started to get out of hand -- that it's just becoming a chore to keep track of them all.

Great Restoration Watch: The Measure of a Ram

You know the drill-- so many rituals, so little time. A lot of topics we were discussing in the previous post popped up (give or take) in the Borgsong this past week, so indulge me as I drop a few fresh gold-dust-rush nuggets in your virtual sluice-pan...

UPSET! Washington Jupiters Defeat Vega's Golden Templars!

Hockey, so often the red-headed stepchild of pro sports, became a huge story with the rise of the Vegas Golden Knights expansion team and last night's victory of the Washington Capitals, who've never won the Stanley Cup in their 44-year history.

Apocalypse This Week: Shock Treatment

OK, so much entrainment, so little time. I'm a bit harried at the moment -- and there is so much going on all around us and so much being dumped on our heads -- that it's all rather overwhelming.

So let's dive in and I'll let all you very smart folks pick up the slack in the comments.

Apocalypse Week in Review: The New Gold Dust Age

That looks comfortable.

Some of you might roll your eyes when I remind everyone else that Apocalypse means "unveiling."

But that's exactly what we are seeing now: all the goodies they've been toiling away on in Lucifer's toyshop since 1947 are getting their great unveilings.

Ready or not, the curtain's being lifted and your new reality is being rolled out. Pucker up.

Shocker! PhilaeDelphi Vegas Win Super Bowl! Unexpected!

Fall, Eagle, Fall!

After watching the Super Bowl tonight I came to the realization there are only two possibilities: either I am in a coma and you're all part of my coma-dream, or Reality as we once knew it is indeed dead and buried, kaput, over, done with.

Super Blue Blood Bowl LII Pre-Game: Gigantic

Pretty flowers? Pretty.
Do you like them? I'm very hungry.

Well, it's the NFLim's Big Day.

The Big Game is finally here; the Super Blue Blood Bowl LII. And they're pulling out all the stops to ensure that the Vegas are well-pleased with their adorations and ceremonial gladiator games.

Stunning! PhilaeDelphi Vegas Go to Super Bowl! Surprising!

Seventeen!

In a stroke of improbability so improbabilistic it has shaken the very foundations of Probabilism itself, the PhilaeDelphi Vegas beat the Twinesota Vikings and will be squaring off against Twin Brady and his New Atlantis Baphomets!

Go Home, Alternate Reality Construct. You're Apocalyptic.

I know what you're thinking-- is this a headline from 2009? Sadly, no.

Yes, under normal circumstances, this nonsense would be as newsworthy as a Paris Hilton sextape but normal circumstances called in sick this year. 2017 is covering for them.

So if you're still nostalgic for 2017, dig those fidget-spinners and pussy-hats out of the attic because there's loads more 2017 on the way.

2018: Same Great 2017 Taste, with 33% More Apocalypse!

"Some people are falling for it." Of course they are, because those mannequins don't look anything at all like oversized action figures. And the bumpkins and naifs who attend the Consumer Electronics Show aren't used to seeing these kinds of exhibits, right?

But hey, you gotta push those antihuman memes so what's a little white lie for the cause?

Heaven Upside Down or Las Vegas: A Tissue of Lies

We have here what they call a "teaching moment."

The Las Vegas narrative continues to unravel like an old sweater. I have to admit I haven't been keeping an eye on the cover-up because I stopped believing the official story as soon as I bypassed the mainstream media accounts and looked at the actual, y'know, evidence.

Babylon's Burning

Well, California wildfires are back in the news, this time in the south. Because these fires are striking at a major nerve center, so to speak, they seem to be getting a lot more attention in the news.

The Never-Ending Ritual: Putting the Fallen in NFLim

Amazing- it's been nearly three years since Katy Hudson (aka Katy Perry) did her little Mystery Babylon the Great LARP at the Super Bowl. Little did we realize that this wasn't entertainment, it was a statement of intent.

I hear Justin Timberlake is set to do the Halftime Show this year, having kicked off the Overt Ritual Age of the N-ph-L with the notorious "wardrobe malfunction" (sic) routine with Janet Jackson back in 2004.

Super Bowl L: Bread and Circuses. Plus, Symbols.

Super Bowl L aired last night, marking the end of many eras. Peyton Manning looked every bit like a man all-too-ready to retire, kept aloft only by the most dominant defense in football.*

Madonna NFLim 2012 Halftime Rituals

Here's the halftime show if you haven't seen it yet. I've been down this road so many times and all of this imagery is so embedded into the culture, I don't think I can say much I haven't said a million times before.
