NFL-im Fever: Orange You Gonna Watch the Šurpu Bowl?

Well, it's that time of year, folks: time for the NFLim to put on their Big Game, Šurpu Bowl LVI. This year features the Cincinnatus Aions vs. the Los Anakim Amuns. In other words, the Saturnians vs. the Jupiterians.

Pseudo-Science Friday: Some Say in Ice

Bundle up, folks in the lower 48: looks like Old Man Winter is a climate denier and is sending a massive blast of arctic air our way. Probably a conspiracy to make our new climate czar look stupid. Well, more stupid.

Hey Big Tech: deplatform Mr. Icicle already! He's too much!

You Are Being Initiated: So, this "OA" thing...

So this "OA" thing seems to have some kind of significance apart from the Netflix series. The key here is the dominance of the O form, indicating it's the primary element.

Space/Gods: As Above, So Ba'al-Low

Ba'al in his flying sky-chariot

We're five days out from the erection of the reproduction of the Palmyra triumphal arch in Trafalgar Square in London. There won't be a simultaneous installation in New York for reasons we'll look at in a moment.

Our Strange Skies: 'Tis a Magic Place

Well, of course it all began with a UFO sighting.

There was an old saying, "When your neighbor loses his job, it's a recession. When you lose your job, it's a depression." So when your son has a high-quality UFO sighting, it's a 'flap', then when you and other family members have one a couple weeks later, I guess it's a 'wave'.

Unidentified Flying Architecture

Some of you are probably familiar with the curious Wat Phra Dhammakaya Buddist temple in Thailand, which has become famous for its unique design. It's really stunning to see the tens of thousands of worshippers praying around what most people would immediately recognize as a replica of a flying saucer.

But it's part of a global trend in architectural design, a trend that includes some of the most significant organizations in the world.

NASA Gets Sirius on the 17th

Well, I'm sure most of you noticed this little ritual this past week-- the Shuttle Discovery making a series of passes around the landmarks of Washington, DC astride a NASA 747.

Revelation of the Pyramids Redux

This has gotten a lot of comment on the Facebook page and I'm sure everyone else will get a rise out of it as well.

Stairway to Sirius: Bonus Picture Parade

Before the Super Bowl last night I had a conversation with Thomas Malone of the Grok the Talk podcast. The topic is the Stairway to Sirius, but we covered a whole host of topics before we even got to it such as the Secret Sun itself, King Tut, Synchronicity, 17, symbolism, the Roman roots of American ritual politics, secret societies, shadow projection and scapegoating and on and on and on.

This is just part one- we're going to reconvene on Thursday.

Secret Sun Picture Parade: Omens and Portents

This time last year we were all agog, having been pounded by a procession of bizarre events that I chronicled in the "Stairway to Sirius, Revisited" series (that you can read here). In the midst of that blowout, we saw the Isis Gate raised from the murky waters of Alexandria Harbor (on the 17th, no less).

Astronaut Theology: Liverpool, Egypt

Some things don't make sense until such time that they suddenly do.

For instance, here's way too much sun-drenched Egypt in the ancient rain-soaked British isles, from the Druids to Queen Scota to the Celtic Church to Egyptology craze of the 18th and 19th Centuries.

Wyrd New Jersey: The Necropolis, or Ritual Done Right

The thing about New Jersey is that you never know what you might find hiding in plain sight. The place is so littered with arcane symbolism it's easy to take for granted. For instance, this cemetery in the rolling hills at the foot of the Skylands caught the attention of even a jaded symbol-junkie like myself.

That strange obelisk sans capstone is particularly interesting in and of itself, given that it's oriented to the cardinal points. Even more so when placed in context with some of the other items around it.
