Obama's Rendezvous with Rama

This was included on an earlier post Earth Intruders and the Manufactured Moon but I'm spinning it into its own post since I have a feeling this story is going to grow and grow....

Speaking of the Moon and the ancient astronauts and their dramas and symbols, what did Barackobamun do as soon as his party took a drubbing in the midterms?

Why, fly to the Land of the Vimanas for some symbol-laden commercial sorcery: the sixth-biggest arms deal in history, selling 10 Boeing C-17s to the nascent superpower.

Regular readers just spit out their third can of Red Bull, instantly recognizing the magic date encoded into said deal. From 2007:
In Egyptian mythology, Osiris was killed on the 17th day of Athyr, the third month of the ancient calendar. Though not acknowledged, 17 seems to be a very meaningful number in the Mystery traditions, sort of equivalent to the Cross in Christianity. It symbolizes an unjust death and the promise of rebirth.

Orion was identified with Osiris, who again died on the 17th day of the third month. "Month," of course, derives from the root word moon.
Speaking of the Moon, note that President Tut flew into Mumbai on the New Moon. The so-called conservative media whipped up the usual phony controversy, ensuring that the public paid attention to a state visit that would otherwise be ignored over the weekend. Are we seeing the old Death and Resurrection Show unfolding before our eyes?

The mysteries deepen. My FB friend Liz writes this:
Typical...our nobel peace prize President chose to make this deal during the celebration of Diwali. Diwali is the festival celebrating Ram's return to Ayodhya. Yudha means war. Ayudha means no war. Ayodhya is the place of perfect Peace.
This comes from the Wiki on Diwali:
Deepavali (also spelled Devali in certain regions) or Diwali, popularly known as the festival of lights, is an important five-day festival in Hinduism, Jainism, and Sikhism, occurring between mid-October and mid-November. For Hindus, Diwali is the most important festival of the year and is celebrated in families by performing traditional activities together in their homes. the celebrants wear new clothes and share sweets and snacks with family members and friends. Most Indian business communities begin the financial year on the first day of Diwali.
Diwali commemorates the return of Lord Rama along with Sita and Lakshman from his fourteen-year-long exile and vanquishing the demon-king Ravana. In joyous celebration of the return of their king, the people of Ayodhya, the Capital of Rama, illuminated the kingdom with earthen diyas (oil lamps) and burst crackers.

Now we get smack dab into the ancient astronautical part of our show. Why did the people of Ayaodha illuminate his kingdom with lamps?
Since time immemorial, north Indian kingdom of Avadha marks this as the last day of Lord Rama's long exile of fourteen years. As the citizens of Ayodhya eagerly awaited their beloved prince's return, they lit thousands of lamps to guide his flying "vimana" to their city.
Rama is very much the equivalent of Western godmen/savior figures like Hercules and Horus, whose ability to withstand hardship and suffering is seen as a model for pious Hindus to emulate. Wiki: "Rama's life and journey is one of perfect adherence to dharma despite harsh tests of life and time. He is pictured as the ideal man and the perfect human." It's worth noting that Obama has now linked himself to Rama, as he's done with both Hercules and Horus.

Like Horus, Rama was a rightful heir whose throne was usurped by a demon-king: Ravanna, in this case (note the etymological similarity to Ravenna). And of course Rama is blue-skinned just like the Na'Vi of Avatar (who are also linked to the Grissom Cult that Obama seems to be a member of).

And then there's Rendezvous with Rama, Arthur C. Clarke and Gentry Lee's ancient astronaut themed novel of a giant abandoned spaceship that wanders into near-Earth orbit. But how was it detected?

Clarke invented the fictional space study program which detects Rama, Project Spaceguard, as a method of identifying near-Earth objects on Earth-impact trajectories; it was initiated after an equally fictional asteroid "struck" Italy on September 11, 2077, destroying Padua and Verona and sinking Venice. However, a real Spaceguard project was initiated some years later, named after Clarke's fictional device. After interest in the dangers of asteroid strikes was heightened by a series of Hollywood disaster films, the United States Congress gave NASA authorization and funding to support Spaceguard.

Spaceguard may or may not coincidentally link us to this strange story, of a very Rama-looking object recently spotted in our solar system. Watch that video and then read this description of Rama:
An unmanned space probe dubbed Sita is launched from the Mars moon Phobos, and photographs taken during its rapid flyby reveal that Rama is a mathematically perfect cylinder, 20 kilometres in diameter and 54 kilometres long, made of a completely featureless material. In other words, this is humankind's first encounter with an alien space ship.
Everyone seems to be calling this strangely symmetrical object "Hartley's Comet," but not Richard Hoagland:
I have worked much of the night on NASA's released Hartley 2 images a bit, and have managed to extract significant new detail.

It IS an ancient "ship" ... judging from the extraordinary geometry in these newly-enhanced images.

IF NASA is honest on this (a BIG "if" ...), the High-res images (yet to be released) will be ASTONISHING .... :)

This could, indeed, be "the BIG November event" that Cliff High's Webot program has been "detecting" for weeks ....

A modern depiction of Vimanas based on ancient descriptions
Well, maybe, maybe not. But the synchronicity of Barackobamun flying into India on the New Moon, just in time to celebrate a festival of lights devoted to Rama, seems a fascinating coincidence by any yardstick. Doubly so considering the sale of the 3-17 death/rebirth Vimanas to Rama's people.

Still think this is all mere coincidence? You'd better read this story then.
Dancing Obama celebrates India's Diwali festival

MUMBAI - US President Barack Obama joined in the celebrations for the Hindu festival of light, Diwali, on Sunday by dancing with children at a school in Mumbai during his visit to India.

Obama and his wife, Michelle, initially sat on the sidelines at the Holy Name School in the south of the city, clapping to the beat as youngsters in colourful costumes performed a traditional dance for the annual festival.

The First Lady, in a checked dress with pink cardigan, then joined in enthusiastically and eventually persuaded her more reluctant-looking husband to accompany her on the dancefloor.
Maybe now we can shed new light on Obama's Hanuman charm. Some saw this as proof of Obama's pagan-Muslim-communist-Nazi treachery, but others took a different view, one that takes on a whole new significance in light of this weekend's festivities:

In any event, one can't help but think of the famous description of Arjuna given in Bhagavad-gita: "At that time Arjuna, the son of Pandu, seated in the chariot bearing the flag marked with Hanuman, took up his bow..." (1.20)

Vaishnava commentators have expressed the significance of the Hanuman emblem on Arjuna's chariot.

"The emblem of Hanuman on the flag of Arjuna is another sign of victory," Srila Prabhupada writes in his purport to this verse, "because Hanuman cooperated with Lord Rama in the battle between Rama and Ravana, and Lord Rama emerged victorious."

I'll just add this little factoid. Morgan Freeman, who played the President in Deep Impact, has long been interested in bringing Rendezvous with Rama to the screen. And which spacecraft spotted the Rama lookalike out there in the first place?
According to recent findings by an Australian astronomer, a spacecraft will soon be meeting a comet after taking a 5.1 billion-kilometre journey.

The Deep Impact spacecraft which is travelling at 12.5 kilometres a second, will make its nearest approach to the comet Hartley 2 early on Friday, crossing within 700 kilometres of the 1.2-kilometre wide icy world.

It is said to be the record time when a single spacecraft has had encounters with two different comets. The first meet was on July 4, 2005, Deep Impact flew by comet Tempel 1, dropping a probe on to its surface, which led to creation of unprecedented celestial fireworks which saw its impact on the Independence Day in the US.
The mind reels...

UPDATE:
One thing that should be remembered given Barackobamun's Indonesian upbringing is that Hinduism was once the official religion of the island nation and there is still a small but influential Hindu minority there.

UPDATE: Another county heard from.
I'm friends with this woman on FB, strangely enough. Thanks to Rennie for the tip.

  1. Wow, what a read. So interesting, as I went to India some years ago and really did some studying on the ancient Indian 'gods,' so your post has really synchronised with me. Earlier today I did a small post on my blog and very briefly mentioned Obama and Krishna, decided I would pop over here to your most excellent site, and bam, you have this engaging piece on Obama-Rama and his consort Michelle-Sita.
    Many thanks for your imput.

  2. Here are some random thoughts about all of this:
    1. Gene Roddenberry predicted that in the couple or three years prior to the nuclear event with China that we'd begin building India into a real, and very potent military superpower. Gene always felt very dubious about Nixon's China Opening.
    2. Check a scifi film staring Star Trek: TOS actor Walter Koenig from the late 1980's called "Moontrapped". The alien mothership in that film looks almost EXACTLY like this "asteroid" without the space barnicles on either end. This film is about a secret space mission to the Moon to investigate aliens.
    3. Going back to the Halloween edition of Whitley Strieber's Dreamland internet radio show, availible at www.unknowncountry.com, he spent at least 18-20 minutes of a 45 minute show relating 2 stories of aliens with blue colored skin, and abduction activity by them. Coincidence or not? I now think not!
    4. I know a bit about the dance that Obama performed in. The Festival is about peace, AFTER defeat of moral enemies. The dance could be termed a Pagan Spellcasting to that end! Michelle Obama knows her Hinduism very well!

  3. I just wanted to say hello and compliment you on this fantastic blog. It’s amazing to find someone with so many interests and perspectives in common. I grew up reading and collecting old Jack Kirby comics, and I’m guessing you did too. I wonder if we even realize how much the King has shaped our imaginations?

I enjoy the UFO and ancient astronaut topics very much, but I hope you don’t go too much into Richard Hoagland territory. The guy is interesting, but a lot of the coincidences he likes to point out (and I see you doing this too) seem like a case of being “fooled by randomness”. The human brain is optimized for finding patterns, but we shouldn’t see every pattern as meaningful. As a serious poker player I know how tempting this is, but it’s a slippery slope that can lead to pure muddle-headed irrationality if not outright batshit insanity.

I wanted to randomly ask you if you are seeing memes relating to the occult, particularly Aleister Crowley’s work, starting to show up everywhere. Maybe this is just my brain finding patterns, but I have been noticing it a lot and wonder if there is something larger going on. The rediscovery of the Western esoteric tradition seems to be in full bloom, and it's certainly becoming my obsession. Speaking of which, I don’t know anything about Jack Kirby’s personal life, but I wonder if he was a student of esoterica, or was he just a natural wizard?

The amazing and disturbing thing about blogs like yours is that while they are absolutely indispensable, they have no economic viability that I can see. If somehow the plug gets pulled on all of this, imagine the cultural void it would create -- we would literally be in a new dark age! Anyway, I’ve thrown enough random thoughts at you for one comment; keep up the great work!

  4. Diana- Outstanding! Happy to have synched up with you. Thanks for the link.

Doug- Very useful information, as always. I'm familiar with that movie- I'll definitely be looking for it and that craft. BTW Gene was right to be suspicious.

Sean- Cheers, welcome to the Sun. I've done a lot on Crowley and Kirby, so please feel free to dive into the archives. I think you'll find a lot of answers to your questions. As to your comments on pattern recognition, I agree with whether or not a pattern is meaningful. The issue isn't whether a pattern exists or not- if it can demonstrated, it exists. The issue is whether or not it's important. Patterns can exist without being significant. I think that's a very important point to raise.

I would associate a Time shift with father-time Saturn/Osiris anyway, but the added illumination element is an interesting one to go with the festival of lights and C17.

  8. The comet reminds of the Doomsday Machine from Star Trek TOS. Interestingly, the events of the episode took place in the year 2267. With the Stardate 4202.9. Geez, I wonder what both of those add up to?

I am also reminded of the cetacean-sound-emitting probe in Star Trek 4. Which comes with its own set of Blue God-Avatar-Abyss-ocean/alien themes.

The illustrations of the Vimanas flying machines also remind me of the cruisers employed by the security police in Star Wars Episode V.

Cloud City? An alien city in the heavens, and above the clouds?

  9. The trailer to Star Trek IV states: "The key to saving the future can be found in the past."

"We are going to attempt time travel"

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dfts9WLXINE

I can't help but notice that the Star Trek whale probe carries with it a round sphere, cracked and orange. In keeping with the Manufactured Moon theme, is this a symbol for the advanced alien/future society bringing us the still-coalescing Moon?

Like Kirk and Spock, did we travel from the future in order to bring the Moon to save the past, and ensure the present?

Are the Star Trek IV oceans evaporating a symbolic representation of the tides which emerged only with the presence of the moon? Are the whales a symbol for the life which evolved in the sea following the arrival of the moon... life which eventually rose up and led to us? Assuming of course that Mitch McConnell represents a higher stage of evolution than the sea urchin!

And what is with all the sun symbolism? The Klingon bird of prey/falcon/Osiris heading towards the sun in an act of sacrifice, death, and rebirth? And what about the bird of prey flying under the Golden Gate? Golden Gate = Sun Gate = Star Gate?

  11. Hey Chris,

I've been dealing with tons of stressful moving-house buffonery of late and so just found the time to read your last two posts. Wow.

They really resonated with me personally. As you might have wondered because of my name, I'm half Indian (and half black) and the Indian side of my family is currently celebrating diwali.

I've always been into researching the mythical and occult aspects of Indian culture, among other things - so it was a delight and very mirth-making to see your referernces to some of hinduisms most profound texts.

Seriously, SO many of the details in this post are things I've been musing over for many years now - so much so that it was almost like reading something I would have written myself. I guess that's how synchronicity often works though, right? Something speaks to you, so you pay attntion, and then it starts really SPEAKING to you.

Again, much mirth-making, which is sorely needed at this stressful time in my life. So, Kudos to you, brother, for extracting meaningfulness from the infinity of patterns out there (not an easy task).

I'm not really a fan of war-metaphors but in this case it's apropriate. You, sir, are a soldier. Or as my little brothers might say, "That was some straight-up gangsta shit."

    Peace

  12. Possible Gnostic-masonic-satanic themes in Skyline?

Los Angeles, CA- City of the Angels. Blue lights descending from heaven- City of the Fallen Angels? Sun imagery of the top of an L.A. skyscraper. News from Channel 22 - a play on 11:11. The time 4:27 am, 4+2+7=13 am. The 13th hour? The time of Lucifer or Yahweh?

The first man in the trailer taken by the fallen angels- first he is surrounded by light, then his eye becomes injured. The wounded eye of Horus?

Man's camera another Horus eye reference? The aliens/angels can only be safely viewed through the camera? Through the god-like eye?

Voiceovers/headers: "If you think you can resist"- a reference to Yahweh/Demiurge's demand that we resist temptation?

"You haven't seen the light" - A Biblical reference suggesting that the aliens represent Yahweh or the Demiurge?

Seeing the light results in your capture by the aliens/Demiurge/Yahweh. The rise up to the spaceship/Heaven as being a terrifying and life ending experience, rather than a liberating one.

"This fall" a covert reference to the fallen angels or Lucifer?

Possible rune imagery. The Blue light surrounding the upwards Y. The downwards Y of the Mercedes Benz foreshadowing its immediate crushing by the lizard alien/God?

Man about to be killed stands behind a sign P1. 16th letter of alphabet. P+1=17.

"Our Last Stand" A reference to the Last Stand at the Battle of Armageddon? Humanity in a fight for its survival against the evil aliens/Yahweh/Demiurge?

  13. Hi Christ,
After reading your post "From Dog Star to Dog House" two nights ago, I felt it was the comment US citizen about his country politics and You sounded upset.
Since I don't want to go into political those issues, I let my mouse guide me and I end up on :"The Enterprise mission" http://www.enterprisemission.com/ reading about "Phobos", and those perfect shaped asteroids.
And I went on to search for this "Festival of Light" and waited to see if you'll get there too.
    And voila.

So I think either your president knows stuffs and are pointing them to us, or everything is just coincidence as usual, or may be "swamp gas" or "balloons".

Happy to read your take on it, but the picture is still a bit blurry.
Keep up this good work and have fun with it.

  14. Further potential masonic-Gnostic imagery in Skyline...

"Oh my god" the character says as he views the aliens. Aliens as Yahweh or fallen angels.

Movie opening date: 11+12+10= the Masonic 33.

Downwards pentacle on the Mercedes hubcap, with the pentacle noticeably continuing to turn despite being crushed by the alien lizard.

Car in the garage, a series of pillars forming a subliminal pyramid. A hook on the garage wall. Is it an upside down question mark? The gnostic-satanic tradition of inverse images as a challenge to God? Is an upside down question a symbol of resistance to Yahweh's demand not to question his authority?

Also note the Venus imagery of the Statue of Liberty. And the sun/star gate imagery of the ferris wheel in London. There is also a fly over of a three sided skyscraper, a possible pyramid subliminal to complement the sun-imagery skyscraper fly over.

Also note the black man with injuries around one eye. Another Horus reference?

Or the TV capture of New York: a possible pyramid with blue light capstone. News station "6 Live". If 6 is the number of Lucifer/Satan, is this a subliminal for Satan Live?

Possible "5 Suns" symbolism. Helicopter pad reads 14. 1+4=5 in a red, sun-like circle. There are 5 alien lights/suns/pyramids arranged behind in that image, and the helicopter pad itself forms a subliminal pyramid. There is also a number 5 on the wall in the garage surrounded by a sun-like yellow box.

Man about to be captured by alien, license plate reads 674. 6+7+4=17. It pans over resulting in 74. 7+4=11.

Helicopter about to rescue couple a possible pharaoh/falcon reference? The axe he is holding up a possible reference to the axe as the symbol of Horus, cleaver of the way.

  22. Will do, Chris.

I might not have web access for a few days, but I'll be back. I also feel a little too militant sometimes about all this metaphysical stuff (if I'm reading you correctly), but I think it's only because it's been such a deep part of my life since I was a child and left me at odds with my environment and many of the people around me.

I've long given up trying to 'enlighten' anyone, but when you know certain things, feel certain truths, it's really hard to feel normal sometimes. I try to have lots of humility about all this stuff, to guard against extremism, ego or just a plain old broken heart.

It's disturbing when you can see the future coming but feel like you have very little power to awaken people to its arrival. Hope you get my drift. I wouldn't class myself as psychic and yet I've had a lot of psychic or pseudo-psychic experiences in my life.

I just hope things don't get as dark as I know they possibly could. My blogs and research etc is hopefully my tiny contribution to something more liberating for all of us.

As an interesting sidenote about diwali; when I speak to many educated Indians, the idea of an extraterrestrial presence depicted in the Gita and Ramayana is obvious to them - often without any 'western' interpretations of those texts.

Even my illiterate grandmother accepts the possibility that the gods of her religion might have literally come from other planets. Apparently in India the concept of aliens is fairly acceptable in a folk-wisdom sense. And there's less of an opposition between literal-metaphorical.

Its intersting to me that something could be seen as having both magical and literal aspects. Or to bastardise a famous quote you're familiar with, "Any form of magic sufficiently ritualised-literalised might be indistinguishable from technology". Just grist for the mill. Your work and insights continually impress and sustain me, Chris.

    Peace

  26. Hey Chris,

I simply noticed two situations where 5 and the sun were potentially combined, and I thought this was deserving of comment. In the future, I will have to monitor other movies for the presence or absence of the 5 suns.

Could they be a reference to a group of 5 gods or rulers in ancient times? Perhaps the Babylon 5? This is in keeping with the notion that the ancient civilizations were controlled by off worlders.

Or could the red 5 and yellow 5 be references to the Masonic multi-colored pentagram? Is the shining pyramidal/phallic liquor bottle the equivalent green point on the pentagram? Is the woman's hand bathed in white light the equivalent white 5? As in, 5 white fingers. Does the shadow of her hand covering one eye but not the other convey another Horus reference? Are the 5 martini glasses and larger wine cups pyramid subliminals? or a pentacle subliminal? Is the repetition in multiple scenes of the bottle spout a subliminal phallic reference? The one phallic bottle falls towards the green bottle/pyramid/phallus. Is the falling bottle a reference to castration/sacrifice prior to the man being sucked up by the alien light?

Also note how prior to sacrifice the tables and counters put the man in a pyramid subliminal with a Masonic blue "eye" at the capstone. Or how the large screen TV and speakers resemble Kubrick style monoliths. More pyramid subliminals, of the woman under the man's legs at 0:53.

And what about the red cup in front of the black man at 1:23. Another capless pyramid subliminal, or red pentacle?

"August 28th 2009" also the launch of Discovery flight Sts-128, aka Sts-11. Note the STS logo's masonic pyramid topped with a star. Which reminds me of the light pattern as people are sucked up into the alien craft. Note also how the movie's fighter craft resemble the shape of the STS space shuttle.

  27. This latest development with Los Angeles, and the Missile vapor trail that the Pentagon knows nothing about, it does feel like some Hollywood narrative is being played out. Was the missile some probe, sent to intercept the Peanut shaped Rama commit? It's hard to completely ignore these patterns, but it's hard to say if anything will happen that will get public disclosure.
