It's the New Zeus Revue, Coming Right at You.

Well, it's been another exciting and fast-paced week, don't you think?

Having defective brains like mine tends to get one trapped down increasingly-treacherous syncholes with all the symbols and signifiers flying around out there, so I'm going to see if my erudite readers want to have a go at all the most-high weirdness flying around in the Ether...

I don't want to get too deep into the weeds into the politics of all this-- and I'll thank all my fine commenters not to, either-- since that's a sinkhole all its own.

But I have been collecting a lot of data that I'm having trouble collating and since so many of my readers are whipsmart as all heck I just thought I'd dump some of this stuff on your lap and see if any significant patterns reveal themselves to you.

I've been trying to trace the Horned and Hidden God's hoofprints in the Borgsong for quite some time now, but given that he's such a syncretic mix of widely varying cultures and figures, that's a lot easier said than done.

Even so, Horny G. seems to be kind of a thruline in all the big news stories the past week or so, given some of the very obvious symbols connected to his various incarnations such as Zeus and Jupiter Ammon.

So I don't know if I'm in a coma, we all died in 2012, D::Wave just got a fresh freon infusion or what, I just know the auld gods are back and they're hungry.

So strap on your thinking caps and see what you can make of all this nonsense and tomfoolery...

FOOD OF THE GODS

How then does a protector begin to change into a tyrant? Clearly when he does what the man is said to do in the tale of the Arcadian temple of Lycaean Zeus. . . The tale is that he who has tasted the entrails of a single human victim minced up with the entrails of other victims is destined to become a wolf. . .

And the protector of the people is like him; having a mob entirely at his disposal, he is not restrained from shedding the blood of kinsmen; by the favourite method of false accusation he brings them into court and murders them, making the life of man to disappear, and with unholy tongue and lips tasting the blood of his fellow citizens; some he kills and others he banishes, at the same time hinting at the abolition of debts and partition of lands: and after this, what will be his destiny? - Plato, The Republic

  1. As someone who dips my toe in both Left and Right media, I cannot believe the insane reactions of this MAGA kid at march for life. I inevitably absorbed the imagery and know basically what happened (from being bombarded with it), but I also know better than to give it even a sliver of my attention or any kind of emotional reaction to it. It feels good to legitimately not care about this crap any more, to legitimately give zero fucks, zero emotional response or judgment to viral meme stories and twitter mob outrage churn up on a weekly basis. I think we're entering a period where truly intelligent, mindful, spiritual, self reflective people will be seen as the ones most tuned out from this "world" of ours, and the mental midgets will continue to be the most "woke," the most loud, angry, and outraged, and ultimately the bottom feeders of this brave new world we're entering.

  2. "Two bombs have exploded outside a Roman Catholic cathedral on a southern Philippine island where Muslim militants are active, killing at least 27 people and injuring more than 70 during a Sunday mass.
The first bomb went off in or near the Jolo cathedral in the provincial capital, followed by a second blast outside the compound as government forces were responding to the attack, security officials said.
Police said at least 27 people died and 77 were injured.
The dead included 20 civilians and seven soldiers. Among the injured were 14 soldiers, two police officers and 61 civilians.
The initial explosion scattered the wooden pews inside the main hall of the cathedral and blasted window glass panels.
The second bomb hurled human remains and debris across a town square fronting the Cathedral of Our Lady of Mount Carmel, witnesses said."

  9. I just want to add to the mix that I went yesterday to see the movie "Glass". I was going to give it a pass, because I like superhero movies that are all eye candy, and this one isn't and it's edgy and disturbing, so not really my thing. But a friend of mine watches all Bruce Willis films ever made as a matter of religious obligation (and he's not gay, that's one of the little mysteries of life), and he recruited me as company.

And the damned movie has been preying on my mind since. First of all, because you get the feeling that Shyamalan has to be a Secret Sunner. It's crystal clear that he likes everything Chris likes: comics and edgy stuff and weird events that may be supernatural or may be somebody messing about with you in a seriously big way. And it's my experience that all cool people know each other, or at the very least know of each other, for any given definition of "cool". So, the expected thing would be that the movie was dripping orthodox Fraserite content. Except that it isn't. Or rather, not to my eyes, which isn't saying all that much, because I'm dense as lead most of the time.

The whole thing was messing with my head so much that I literally woke up in the middle of the night and there was only one thing to be done: check the obvious sync. The showdown in the movie is supposed to happen in December 7th. I took a mental note of that, I can't help myself with syncs nowadays. And I checked.

And if that isn't a sign from heaven, I don't know what else is.

Apart from that, one of the characters in the movie is called "The Beast" and is the most spectacular case of split personality I've encountered in a movie. But that is to be expected in these times. Other people can probably spot better further synchery with all the other stuff you mention here.

I'd like to put forward the daring theory that the coolest character in the movie and the true superhero is the doctor. Now, willful blindness isn't exactly a superpower, and you could easily argue that she's the biggest villain, but hear me out. Think of this at the end of the movie: What does she really know? What can she really do? And when did she know it?

If you think about it, there are only two good answers: Either she really doesn't get it, at all. Or she knows everything. Nothing, or everything, are the only two things that people go to any extent to hide. And you can't really tell which one it is.

    Over to you, people.

    3. I saw the movie 'Glass' the other night (pardon the pun on the director's name who also plays Jai and a security guard in the movie) only because my two boys (aged 26 and 23:-) wanted to see it.
I had seen 'Split' but never watched 'Unbroken'.
Unlike your friend I try to avoid watching Bruce Willis movies ever since 'Die Hard' came out (and I'm not Gay either BTW).
As I'm watching the movie Maria I was thinking the same thing, that M. Night Shyamalan is probably a secret 'Secret Sun' reader ... one of those "Anonymous" commentors here probably ... but one of the smart ones worth reading;-)
I didn't notice any outright siren imagery, but since you mention "the true superhero" in the movie I did a bit of digging in relation to her name in the movie- Dr. Ellie Staple.
Ellie, or Elly, is a given name, usually feminine and a shortened form of (variations of) Elnora, Eleanor or ELIZABETH.
It can also be a short form of Elena, Elham, Eliana, Eloise, Emelia, Ellisha, Elisha, Elesha or Petronella and as a masculine name of Eleazer, Elliot, Elron, or Elston.
It can also be a given name in its own right or a nickname. In Greek mythology, Ellie (Helle) was the daughter of Athamas and Nephele; sister of Phrixus.
Helle (/ˈhɛli/; Greek: Ἕλλη), or Ellie, sometimes also called Athamantis (Ἀθαμαντίς), was a character in Greek mythology who figured prominently in the story of Jason and the Argonauts.
Phrixus, son of King Athamas of Boiotia and the half-nymph Nephele, along with his twin sister, Helle, were hated by their stepmother, Ino.
Ino hatched a devious plot to get rid of the twins, roasting all the town's crop seeds so they would not grow.
The local farmers, frightened of famine, asked a nearby oracle for assistance.
Ino bribed the men sent to the oracle to lie and tell the others that the oracle required the sacrifice of Phrixus. Before he was killed though, Phrixus and Helle were rescued by a flying golden RAM sent by Nephele, their natural mother. Helle fell off the ram into the Hellespont (which was subsequently named after her) and either died or was rescued by Poseidon and turned into a sea-goddess, but Phrixus survived all the way to Colchis, where King Aeetes took him in and treated him kindly, giving Phrixus his daughter, Chalciope, in marriage.
In gratitude, Phrixus gave the king the golden fleece of the RAM, which Aeetes placed in a consecrated grove, under the care of a sleepless dragon.
With the Greek god Poseidon, Helle was the mother of the giant Almops and Paeon (called Edonus in some accounts).
Almops (Ancient Greek: Ἄλμωψ) was in Greek mythology a giant, and son of the god Poseidon and the half-nymph Helle.
He was the brother of Paeon (called "Edonus" in some accounts).
With the others of his kind, the Gigantes, he waged war on Zeus and the gods of Olympus.

So with her name being Dr. Ellie STAPLE my bet is that she is ment to be a resonator with Helle in some way.
      Staple/crops?
Anyway, something to get you started maybe Maria?
And on a personal synch note I have two promotional paper drink coasters in front of me right now that I brought home from the cinema to place my half full/empty GLASS on:-)

It draws semblance with a Mother killing her son and takes place at The Winter Solstice.

“The big market is flexitarian, people who eat meat, fish and dairy but who want to cut back or who want the chance to try vegan or veggie food … It’s like taking someone over a bridge to help wean them off meat.”

"flexitarian" must be akin to "Fidelio", but that's just the 1st "password" required so as to afford passage across this "bridge", another's required granting feasting on/not to be feasted upon.

"The Daily Beast" has "the skinny" re: an "award season" "palette cleanser":

    https://www.thedailybeast.com/from-locusts-to-leper-pus-battle-of-the-biblical-diets

"Is Chris Pratt's 'Daniel diet' really the most biblical diet?"

"Daniel" = "God is my judge".

"In the Bible the earliest people were vegan. According to Genesis..."

"Genesis" can be used as a "weapon" of "Wrath".

"It was only after the Flood (Genesis 6-9) that the swarmy things of creation appear on the menu (Genesis 9:3). This moment, however, is a concession to human failure: it’s only after the near-destruction of humanity that we are allowed to eat meat. Ideally, if we were still in Paradise, we’d still be vegan."

    Would-be penitents be warned:

"The irony is ... if you really want to eat biblically, you probably have to change your diet for longer than 21 days."

Real "devotion" is the Work of a lifetime.

The "Mediterranean Diet" is also gifted a(nother) boost which is all well & good but what diet is best for those not of "Medi" origin? "Soylent" is on the menu for the unchosen.

If red is worn above blue then the person values blood above heaven. "Blood and soil" is a common far right expression of values and, sorry Nazi fans, but we know that value system leads to hell on earth. Maga could be Adam backwards in red room speak but who knows.

I don't know really know about Tibet, Thuggees, or whatever. 5. The MAGA-Magi connection has occurred to me more than once before...especially now that, with the Covington Catholic Incident, all the local newscasters simultaneously stopped saying "Make-America-Great-Again hats" and started saying "maguh hats".

Minor synchronicity: "maghu", in Proto-Indo-European, meant "young person". And, as "magu", it survived for centuries in Old English with the meaning "son".

I hadn't heard of the fairy Redcaps; but it reminds me of how novice coal miners used to be given red hard hats, rather than the black ones fully-trained miners wore. It's become so ingrained a part of the culture here in Appalachian coal country that someone just starting out in any area of the human experience (anything from, say, love, to religion, to fishing) is likely to be called a "redhat".

Putting it all together: I have to wonder if the young people in the magic red maguh hats weren't part of a very public Initiation in the classic sense of the term. Though I doubt what they (we?) are being initiated into will, in the end, have anything to do with politics.

    8. The Amanita Muscaria mushroom also has a red cap. It is probably most famously depicted in Mario Brothers. The white spots typically associated with it are actually the remnant of a membrane that surrounds the budding form, and wash off. It was used by northern shamans, and the 'super powers' associated with it come from it's psychoactive effects. It is consumed by many animals, including squirrels who will hoard them, and by reindeer, who after consuming them have been observed to jump around wildly, hence the famous 'flying reindeer' of Santa Claus', whose depiction in red and white is due to the colors of this mushroom.

John Allegro made the claim that Jesus was really a mushroom, and probably that one. I have not read much of that theory so can't comment.

  19. As for what happened on the national mall, why is no one calling out the Black Israelites for their role in what went down? They are a real but small fringey group with a history of riling people up--wouldn't be surprised if they were tied to some CIA/ Soros-backed project.

Also waiting to see folks' reactions to release on Valentine's Day of the Alita: Battle Angel movie. Lots to unpack with that one. I recall reading the manga back in the 90s & all the place names in it were tied to the names of the sephirot in the Kabbala, esp. Tipheret & Kether. Not sure if that's true for the film but we'll see. Also lots of people talking about the "Uncanny Valley" effect with regards to the CGI rendering of Alita the cyborg; I mean, come on, THOSE EYES!!! So many are creeped out already...The transhumanism is in overdrive on this one, I fear everything I liked about the comic will be overshadowed by agendas within agendas. Such is Hollywood.

    4. The Black Israelites used to be a staple in Philly. They always used to demonstrate across from city hall, near the apparently famous 'Clothespin' sculpture. Hearing about them now made me realize i haven't seen them for some years. When i was growing up in the 80's and 90's they were always there. "Jesus was a black man from the tribe of Judah!" was one one of their most common catchphrases you would always hear blasting from their loudspeakers. Most people ignored them, just background noise.

I remember several years ago there was a movie Elysium that from the promos it seemed to me to be ripped from Battle Angel Alita. From the little i saw of this new movie, it looks like they are getting much better at simulating reality. How long before we won't be able to distinguish what is real?

    5. Back in the early 2000s, James Cameron had a short-lived series on Fox called "Dark Angel" that was directly influenced by Battle Angel Alita, he's said as much in interviews. It was always something he wanted to work on but he was waiting for the special effects/motion capture tech to be up to his exacting standards. "Avatar" was mainly a vehicle for that, but now that Cameron is so invested in the Avatar sequels, he decided to hand off direction duty to Robert Rodriguez, who wants to turn Alita into a trilogy of its own (assuming it does well at the box office). Next two tentative titles being "Avenging Angel" & "Fallen Angel" respectively. Also, re: place names in the comic, depending on which edition you read, the "city above" the scrapyard where Alita is found is called "Salem", & the governing AI there is called "Melchizedek". You know, just because. Also, the comic is more than the four volumes Cameron & Rodriguez refer to in interviews, there's been quite a bit of back story added over the years. Alita's flesh & blood childhood (SPOILERY) was spent as a colonist on Mars, where she barely survived a brutal massacre. & later on of course, she was a soldier, an experimental soldier. So you've got the themes of childhood trauma & classified military projects going hand in hand with the transhumanism that was always implicit in the story. & Alita's story is basically tragedy for most of the telling. But hey, its all about presenting it as "female empowerment" now. With military upgrades!

BTW: Watched the movie "Logan" last nite, I think this too was inspired to some degree by Alita as well. & yeah, lots of folks have commented about Elysium copying many themes from the Alita story. There was an hour-long anime made of Alita in '93 that you can find on youtube, but its a bad English dub & the story is totally rushed. Better to just read the original manga.

Interesting about the Black Israelites, never knew about them before. Are they mainly an East Coast urban movement?

    7. It's been almost 2 decades since i read the manga. Melchizedek, eh? I've had a number of synchs with Melchizedek. I had some very 'dense' syncs, which had a part 2 as 2-16 turned to 2-17. Some time after that Melchizedek came up yet again, so i decided to check Messengers Of Deception to see when Jacques Vallee had his Melchizedek sync-- it was on 2-17!

The transhumanism is strong in this one. One of the funniest, and in some ways truest scene i recall was when they revealed to the elite initiates that their brains were going to be replaced with a computer chip, hoping to prevent it. Instead they wanted it, and complained about it being prevented. "No, we want our brains to be replaced!"

I'm sure they'll ruin it though.

As to the Black Israelites, i don't know too much about them. As i said, they were just kind of background noise. There is some support for the notion of black Jews however. In the bible it is mentioned that the Hebrews were 'a motly bunch', and Moses' wife was a Kushite ie an Ethiopian. God 'struck down' Aaron's wife and children for mocking her for this reason. Solomon had a son by the Queen Of Sheeba, Menelek, who visited his father after he was grown, and when he left took some priests with him. Ethiopia has a very ancient tradition of Judaism derived from this (the Judaism most people are familiar with is comparatively modern). One of my best friends is an Ethiopian Jew. When Israel and later Judah were destroyed by the Babylonians, many fled there. Ethiopia was one of the first Christian countries partly for this reason, and there have been a succession of Jewish and Christian dynasties throughout history. Rastafarians honor this tradition, and given some inexplicable knowledge of Hebrew amongst some slaves in the Carribean, it is probably somewhat authentic. Ethiopian slaves were more highly valued to to their knowledge of rice cultivation and irrigation, and were purchased through the Arab slave trade.

The Ethiopian Jews are looked down on by many Jews, and are treated badly in Israel, even though they are more authentic than the Ashkenazim. Last year i had a pasty blue-eyed red-haired 'Semite' tell me they were all liars and were just trying to get into Israel 'because it was nicer', well known history be damned.

Graham Hancock makes a good case that the Ark Of The Covenant is in Ethiopia. It's guardians don't live very long, and suffer unusual health problems like cataracts.

  20. Hype for Season 8 conclusion of Game of Thrones continues to ramp up.

George R.R. Martin was a frequent writer of the CBS late 80s Beauty and the Beast TV show starring Ron Perlman as the lion-faced Beast. (The late Roy Dotrice also appeared on the show is is renowned as teh reader of teh ASoIaF audiobooks).

A Song of Ice and Fire features at least 2 prominent Beauty and the Beast narratives: Sansa Stark/the Hound and Jaime Lannister (a lion-man)/Brienne of Tarth.

ASOIAF is of course riddled with Wolf-Men (the Starks) and one of the messages of the novels is that magic has a cost and that cost is blood. Bran Stark may have engaged in cannibalism as a means of levelling up his psychic powers. Melisandre, the Red Priestess, is fond of human sacrifice by fire. A man named Craster, on the other hand sacrifices ALL of his male offspring to the icy Others/White Walkers to protect himself.

The ancient in-universe legends of course play a HUGE role in the narrative of the novels as they repeat and rhyme throughout the current events of the series. Jon Snow's (revealed as a hidden prince on the show) nativity is a replay of a legendary story in the books about a figure named Bael the Bard. Jon's given name at birth likely isn't Jon, but something more kingly. The show reveals it to be Aegon (for reasons that don't make a lot of sense, but the show takes lots of strange liberties with the written material). The books point to a strong possibility that our hidden prince is more likely to be named Aemon (Ammon?).

Other writers have drawn parallels of Jon Snow as a Mithras, Corn King, and Surtr figure. Martin is adept at layering mythological symbolism all over his characters in various ways. The Wall in the story described in rainbow language evokes the Bifrost, and of course the Wall has fallen in the show, and the end times/Ragnorak parallels are in play.

I've always felt that 'Winter is Coming' had strong synchs to the Fourth Turning Strauss/Howe Generational Theory, and I find it fascinating that A Song of Ice and Fire's first novel was published in 1996, with the book the Fourth Turning first published in 1997, and now the Game of Thrones TV show will wrap up during the worsening of the Generational 'Winter' predicted by Strauss and Howe's book.

  21. More on the temple of Jupiter Ammon. The local legends say that the site was originally built by the biblical Cain, but was destroyed by the flood, only to be rebuilt for Noah's great-grandson Nimrod by giants. Nimrod was the first 'mighty man'. The Egyptian Ptolomies called it Heliopolis, 'city of the sun' much like the much older Egyptian city of the same name.

Baal was the first worshipped at Baalbek (city of Baal) and Jupiter was considered the Roman counterpart, hence why a temple to Jupiter would have been built there. Apparently Jupiter and Baal were merged into Jupiter Heliopolitan, who is depicted with a bull, a symbol of Baal.

Typical for many ancient sites, newer temples were built on the older (churches being no exception). The 14'x12'x65' blocks of the Trilithon show much more erosion than the known Roman materials, and it was out of character for the eminently practical Romans to build with such large stones.

  22. Hi Chris, couple quotes:

Sagan and Druyan “Shadows of Forgotten Ancestors” Chapter 10, pgs. 184-186

“psychologist John B. Calhoun let Norway rats reproduce in an enclosure of fixed size until the number of occupants, and therefore the population density, was very high. He made sure, however to provide everyone with enough to eat. What happened?
As the population increased, a range of unusual behavior was noted. Nursing mothers became somehow distracted, rejecting and abandoning their infants, who would wither away and die. Despite the surplus of ordinary food, the bodies of the newborn would be greedily eaten by passersby. An adult female in heat or estrus would be pursued relentlessly, not by one, but by a pack of males. She had no hope of escape, or even sanctuary. Obstetrical and gynecological disorders proliferated, and many females died giving birth, or from complications soon after. When crowded together, the rats lost their inclination or ability to build nests for themselves and their young; their desultory constructions were amateurish and ineffective.
Among the males Calhoun distinguished four types: the dominant, highly aggressive one who, although “the most normal,” would occasionally go “berserk”; the homosexuals who made sexual advances to adults and juveniles of both sexes (but significantly, only to non-ovulating females): their invitations were generally accepted, or at least tolerated, but they were frequently attacked by the dominant males; a wholly passive population that “moved through the community like somnambulists” with nearly complete social disorientation; and a subgroup Calhoun call the “probers,” uninvolved in the struggle for status but hyperactive, hypersexual, bisexual, and cannibalistic.
If there were no differences between rats and people, we might conclude that among the consequences of crowding humans into cities – other things being equal – would be more outbreaks of street fighting and domestic violence, child abuse and neglect, soaring infant and maternal mortality, gang rape, psychosis, increased homosexuality and hypersexuality, gay bashing, alienation, social disorientation and rootlessness, and a decline in traditional domestic skills. It’s suggestive, surely. But people are not rats”

” The rat response to overcrowding, even at its most pathological, might be viewed as making sense in a remorseless evolutionary way. If the population density becomes too high, then mechanisms are set into motion to reduce it. Huge numbers of socially disinterested adults, illness, increased homosexuality, and soaring infant and maternal morality, all serve this purpose. Eventually, the population crashes, overcrowding is relieved, and the next generation is back to business as usual – until the population pressures build up again. Some of the behavioral responses to high population density in Calhoun’s rats, and in many other species, might be looked on not as barbarous and unfeeling, but as a calamitous necessity, the capability for which has been painstakingly evolved.”

"Because propaganda is presented as a necessity, such a work would therefore force the author to make propaganda, to foster it, to intensify. I want to emphasize that nothing is further from my mind; such an assumption is possible only by those who worship facts and power. In my opinion, necessity never establishes legitimacy; the world of necessity is a world of weakness, a world that denies man. To say that a phenomenon is necessary means, for me, that it denies man: its necessity is proof of its power, not proof of its excellence."

I don't know how accurate any of my own personal speculation is, but I am beginning to conclude that we are experiencing something unprecedented. That all are feeling it, some think they are in control of it, and most have no idea what's happening. I think some, because of fear, are calling on powers they have no clue as to their true nature, and are thus accelerating (if possible) their manifestation.

    5. KTV,

A social purpose of "norms" may be to achieve some sort of harmony or stability but that is not an inherent characteristic of reality. Such things must be enforced by ideals and cannot even be said to fully work as advertised.

A machine governed transhumanist cybernetic society could easily be more efficient and ruthless in enforcing norms than even the brutal totalitarian human society led by the god fearing strongman that we all dream of and pray for.

The difference being that the sneaky god program would correct inharmonious behavior before it can manifest. The psychopathic leader will take bloody revenge on the individual after transgression. Both for the good of harmony and normal behavior agreed up on by the masses. The great psychopathic leader would delight in breaking all those rules personally while the deus ex machina would just be satisfied by serving its purpose as designed.

Said rat experiments are what happens if there is only material prosperity with no social manipulation to impose a norm of harmony and structure. I believe there are rat-topia experiments where the rats are given artificial tasks to do to engage their rat minds and their behavior is more "harmonious" as a result.

But when scientists categorize types of rat behavior and group them then surely they have to be applying an ideological framework to say that this group is acting in a more "normal" way than another. Is normal merely saying that this group of rats will pass on its genes to preserve rat-kind and not that a rat will attempt to do other things that are in its nature and would be possible if not for the unusual situation of the experiment?

Then again, from a Buddhist perspective, so-called reality is the coma world. Then the only way out is enlightenment or death.

I'd want to be unplugged too, but i do wonder if someone could come back from being brain-dead. I don't believe we are our meat-suits. Some people have lost large portions of their brain, and still 'been there', so perhaps certain souls may have the power to do such a thing, to animate a near-corpse.

And this wasn't just some dream like thing, this was as real as real can be, so I have a lot of respect for people who report seeing themselves on the operating table when they have flat-lined, cause I get what they are talking about.
Which is why I don't fear death and don't want to hang around if I'm ever in a "brain-dead" coma.
I certainly don't have much faith in so-called medical experts either Dan.

    6. Yeah, and how do we know if someone is an expert? Because someone else told us they were? The only way to judge a person's knowledge is having some overlapping knowledge of our own. Real science is about reproducability. Unfortunately most scientific journals are full of nonsense that no one has ever bothered to confirm. There was a recent test of 100 different psychological studies. Most of them could not be reproduced. Many years ago, the Johns Hopkins journal, considered the second most prestigious of medical journals had a study that said that 75% of all medical studies are eventually proven wrong. Other journals subsequently said similar things, one giving 25% and another 50%. A former editor of the Boston Medical Journal for some 20 years has more recently made similar claims.

Most of the history of some famous scientific discoveries are also mythology. Pasteur's experiments are a good example. His discoveries are tauted as a triumph of 'science over religion' but in fact he was aiming to prove the church's position at the time, which is the continuity of life as opposed to spontaneous generation. Some of his experiments failed even. It was believed that heat would destroy any organism, but in one case one of his sealed and heated vessels sprouted growth. We now know it was a heat resistant bacteria that grows on hay, but due to the assumptions of the time, that he shared, he failed to conclusively prove his case. History is written by the victors, and reductive materialism has won the day.

As to OBEs there has been verification of claims of what people experiencing them have witnessed. For instance, people undergoing surgery have been able to accurately describe things happening in other rooms that have been confirmed. There is also a large body of literature confirming reincarnation. Many have been investigated by sceptics who have tried everything to throw the subject off. Young children, particularly under the age of 5, before the 'age of reason', remember these things most clearly. The memories tend to fade as they get older, but they sometimes know things about a grandparent or great-grandparent that their parents are unfamiliar with, but are later confirmed to be accurate. The children take their unusual knowledge in stride. A little girl sees someone at a store: "that's my friend X", a neighbor of her dead grandmother. Another uses a childhood nickname for his great-aunt that only his grandfather used (and only when children). One boy being changed, to his father "I remember when i used to change your diapers." In one case a small child even attended a reunion of vets of an American fighter squadron, and interacted with them, convincing them he was one of theirs who had been shot down over the pacific. He also related that after being shot down, he floated around until he found his (current) parents, similar to what is related in the Tibetan Book Of The Dead. There's a famous case from India of a woman who died in childbirth. When she was 8 or 9 became insistent that she had to get back to her family in a distant provence. A journalist tried to trick her, introducing the wrong person as her former husband, but she found the real one who was in a crowd, and whispered some family secrets to him. The journalist was thoroughly westernized and skeptical.

Partly, yes, but i thought i would elaborate for others who may be interested, especially regarding science. In the past Chris has been attacked for his rightful distrust of the proclamations of the Scientist priesthood (what the late great John Anthony West used to call the Church Of Progress). I love (real) science but became disillusioned with 'Science' due to its lack of rigor (in the mathematical-logical sense), even in the harder sciences like physics, let alone something like 'medical science' which is largely based on statistics and is not really amenable to controlled experimentation due to the complexity of something like an organism (not that it is all worthless even with those issues, but not nearly so definitive). For instance, most physics texts use the term body without defining it (a piece or region of matter), and there are always unstated assumptions. A mathematically minded autistic like me always expected something at least approaching first principles, based on observation. I found this not to be the case. I have one book called Chemistry Of The Elements that is an exception, and the stated focus is on observation over theory, and the authors state in the intro that this is not the norm (and also the caveat that many observations are theory-laden). They felt compelled in the 2nd edition to state that they do not apologize for this approach...

Funny- in spite of making me feel kind of ill the first few days of every month, I was grateful for those pills that stopped me from being responsible for putting food in the mouths of people I caused to exist by having sexual feelings for another person and acting on them. Bad me. Those pills don't always work and if a couple is broke and on the road how to even try to be safe every time? Bad bad them. I saw a little pregnant couple crawl out of a ditch by the gas station I was working at, they were covered in bites and headed for corpus Christi. Poor poor babies. I wonder what happened to them. Maybe she died in childbirth. That would be a late term scenario for the death of the baby over the mother, you are both going down, one can be saved. This should be a safe procedure legally for the medical professional having a shit day already. Also late terms ain't cheap, no one wants a late term for fun, on a whim.

And I guess these signs then go back to the Necronomicon. Once I saw that pic I started to realize what the hand signs of a lot of "elites" throw up really are referring to. And it all ties into Lucifer and old gods (Saturnian) vs. the younger gods (Jupiter) vying to be at the top of the heap. Once again I was working on a new pic series and then stop here and the Sun is on the same wavelength. Clearly we're tapping into the same sync stream.

    2. It slipped my mind to post these yesterday. I came across Ye Signs of Power when I was looking into Erdogan (in the pic series mentioned above) was throwing up "the devils horns" at a rally and had the whole crowd doing it. They attribute this as the "Wolf Party" because of their wolf creation theology (Mongolia claims they were originated from the Blue Wolf as well). When you have the whole crowd throwing up these signs it was clear to me that Erdogan and Co. are invoking something. When I saw them using the "Four" sign as well, it became clear to me that these signs should be attributed to these Signs of Power of the Elder Gods. Which ties into the Terra Papers if one wants to understand how the "Wolf" ties in. Which also explains the resurgence of the themes in the Twilight movie series. The old allegory of the Vampires vs. Werewolves (Orion vs. Sirius).

  32. This is more an echo than a sync, but I thought I'd toss it out there for my fellow Secret Sunners to make of it whatever they think it's worth...

Back in 2018, regarding the 2017 Vegas massacre, I noted how both Paddock and the hero security guard Campos had surnames that would translate as "Vega", and how, shortly after, astronomers discovered Oumuamua, the advance scout from Vega. Then there was the massacre in Parkland, FL...and "parkland" would also translate "vega".

Now it turns out that the Covington Catholic school at the center of the storm isn't actually in Covington, KY: it's in neighboring Montes Vegas- I mean, Park Hills.

Also: both incidents involved young men named Nikolas/Nicholas. And Nikolas Cruz was an anti-semite who nonetheless bafflingly claimed to be of Jewish descent; the Covington Catholic Incidents got its start with taunting by the Black Hebrew Israelites, a group of antisemites who nonetheless claim to be of Jewish descent.

The rest is just speculation on my part as to the *why* of it. Consider the tsunami of hatred that got generated (whether or not you think the hatred justified), and consider how *every*last*adult*involved* (the chaperones that didn't intervene, the reporters that investigate, the coward Bishop that says he was "bullied" into condemning the students before he knew anything about what had happened, the mobs on social media who called for blood) had to totally drop the ball to generate that tsunami of hatred aimed at a bunch of mid-teenage boys. Consider the immediate push to dox Nick Sandmann. And consider the very real threats Sandmann and his school are receiving.

I have to wonder if the archons didn't see to it that all those balls got dropped, hoping that all that generated hate would inspire someone to do more than spew venom on Twitter...and give the archons the type of young blood sacrifice they love. Except that this sacrifice would have been unique in being the first that America had cheered for in advance.

As always, CLK, keep up the stellar work! And thanks for allowing space for speculation like mine.

    5. @Syncra: much thanks! I never thought of that, but it fits perfectly...in more ways than one.

Turns out that I was wrong: the (narrowly, I'd guess) averted blood sacrifice in Montes Vegas, KY was *not* the first blood sacrifice America cheered in advance. JFK died at the Vega Hospital, Oswald was pointed to as the assassin and arrested...and, judging by what I've heard by listening to those of my father's and grandfather's generation, a huge chunk of America promptly began howling for Oswald's blood. Which they quickly got. Followed by a decade or so of social upheaval such as America had not seen since the Civil War.

I freely admit that I think that many of the Upheavals of the 60s were the result of more than just sociopolitical forces: they were the result of a Working (and some were themselves part of new Workings), and that the human sacrifices of JFK and Oswald were integral parts of that Working.

And I'm convinced that that's what the archons were hoping for by making a minor incident at a minor protest (and, in keeping with CLK's request to avoid politics, I'd submit that, in hindsight, no matter who one thinks was at fault that day, we can agree it was not an earth-shattering occurrence) into a national event drenched in such bitter emotion.

      Again, *way* great catch, Syncra!

  33. This is just for those who enjoy ontological paranoia...

The Covington Catholic Incident has generated a huge mass of echoes (few rise to the level of true synchronicities) that, each by itself, would probably mean little, but that draw attention just through sheer numbers. To pick one example almost at random:

Adrian Belew, longtime guitarist for legendary prog-rockers King Crimson, was born and raised in Covington, KY. The band name is said by its founders to refer to the concept of the "crimson king", one whose reign saw civil war, or at least revolt leading to bloodshed. I haven't been able to verify the etymology...But the Covington Catholic Incident seems to be one more step toward having exactly that sort of future for America.

Belew also played on Frank Zappa's "Baby Snakes", which is also, of course, the title of Jim Carey's portrait of the Covington teens. I'm not sure if Carrey realized that the phrase originated in the "lynching culture" of the Jim-Crow Era of the American South. If, after a black teen had been lynched, someone questioned whether the boy had really been guilty of whistling at a white girl (or whatever such thing had led him to a lamppost gallows), or whether the "crime" was worthy such a drastic punishment, he was sure to be told "Baby snakes grow up to be big snakes."

I could go on and on with all the echoes; but no need to run it into the ground. It makes me think that the Covington Catholic Incident (whatever side of the issue one is on) is some sort of watershed or mile-marker for the archons; maybe an engineered part of the Long Working we're all living through.

"Thanos" is a given name that's short for "Athanasios", which indeeds means "immortal"; but by dropping the initial "A-" (the Greek prefix of negation), it seems almost to circle back around to the Greek root "thano-", which refers to death.

In English, it'd kinda be like someone named "Immortal"...who everybody called "Mort".

No clue how that would affect the interpretation (or if it would affect it at all).

  43. I'm visiting Nepal presently witnessing a lot of monks and priests in red and yellow hats doing their best magick to reverse the negativity of the old year. To do that they invoke some pretty terrible forces. But they know what they're doing. En masse they have a lot of power to control the forces of the universe, including the worst of the worst. Whereas, those who just talk about magick or engage in personal magickal ventures may reap some benefits or exert some control over superhuman powers, they cannot possibly gain the advantage of a large number of highly trained, ritually organized human beings who are also upholding a very high degree of refined personal morality. Such is the discipline of the Tibetan, Nepali and Bhutanese monks I've been observing. With all due respect, there's a lot of loose talk around here regarding hats and such. If we, stateside, could muster even a small fraction of the organizational magic I'm watching here, there's no telling what kind of benefits it might bring. The fact that such ceremonies can still be undertaken in this country -- which has emerged from a decades-old guerilla war with Maoist insurgents funded by an extremely wealthy neighbor to the north and west, and from the massacre of its royal family into a constitutional democracy -- shows that wearing red hats and practicing magic rituals together can, in fact, be a positive organizing principle in the midst of terrible chaos, poverty and environmental devastation.

Incidentally, the worldwide collapse of the insect population is much in evidence here. Though it's chilly weather, even on warm days there is not a single flying insect in evidence. And there's plenty of filth in ditches, or in rubbish heaps, to support a flying insect population. Strange and not a little scary.
