Yahooccultism: Shroud it out Loud

Not that this will settle anything, but Italian researchers claim that the Shroud of Turin is a medieval fake:

Scientists have reproduced the shroud using materials and methods that were available in the 14th century, the Italian Committee for Checking Claims on the Paranormal said.

The group said in a statement this is further evidence the shroud is a medieval forgery. In 1988, scientists used radiocarbon dating to determine it was made in the 13th or 14th century.

For what it's worth the Vatican has never claimed the Shroud is genuine. I think the more interesting story is its connection to the Templars, or maybe some other shadowy groups running around Europe at the time.

In a related story, some conservative activists want to rewrite the Bible to fit their political philosophy. Yeah, that worked out so well for the liberal denominations, right? Strange times we live in.

Speaking of which, be sure to check out this story, which charts the practice of each of the seven deadly sins in this fair land of ours. Most of them seem to be quite popular in the 'Bible Belt'.

  1. WIRED's 7 deadly sins maps are a fun concept, poorly executed.

The Sloth map tracks spending on art and recreation as a function of employment. That's not sloth in my book.

A better example of 'sloth' is the Lust map, which does a very poor job of measuring 'lust' as a function of STDs per capita: "stupid sex" which in most cases can be chalked up to laziness or carelessness.

    I enjoy the blog!

  2. How bout the 7 deadly Pleiades ?

if ever for a moment you had a doubt as to the intent behind some Obama-Syncs. Here's an intentional "OBAMA 17" that you should take a moment to look at and consider - On my blog at

  3. In regard to the Bible rewrite: In a way, any translation is a rewrite of the original. Perhaps this is why Muslims insist that a translation of the Quran is not really the Quran. But I'm not aware that liberal Christians have ever consciously attempted to *rewrite* the Bible to conform to their ideologies. Some of the modern translations are liberal projects by definition, since the real conservatives insist that only the KJV is valid. But I think they were genuinely motivated by the desire to come as close as possible to the intended meaning of the passages. That's why these were works of scholarship, and not propaganda and special pleading. In fact, the only people I'm aware of who ever tried to rewrite the Bible--up to now--were the Jehovah's Witnesses and their so-called "New World Translation." Yes, Thomas Jefferson and Marcion tried to cut out parts of the Bible they didn't care for, but even they wouldn't have claimed that their works were *the* Bible.

This just proves what I've always suspected: the cons really *hate* Jesus and the restraints placed upon them by Christian ethics and morality. If they were honest, they'd just ditch the whole thing and go back to burning their foes alive in wicker effigies and bathing in blood and howling at the moon.

  4. I see he moon bombing is scheduled for friday the 9th. Anyone know any occult significance for that date?

  5. moon bombing?!?I wish they'd stick on rewriting the bible!

  6. I am really and truly sick of those who look for whatever excuse they can to deny the fact that God exists and he is real. This tops the cake with their asinine thinking of how the Shroud of Turin is fake because they were able to make a mockery [replica] of it. I hope that Italian scientist enjoys his 15 minutes of fame and the money he was paid to utter horrible blasphemies. I would not even be a bit surprised if he's one of the scientists involved in making a body/clone for the Antichrist.

I encourage anyone who has ears to hear and eyes to see with to get a copy of the book called Antichrist: The Cloned Image of Jesus Christ by Joye Jeffries Pugh. The book discusses the Shroud of Turin and the coming Cloned Antichrist. The greatest deception that the world has ever seen is coming.

  7. CB- I don't doubt that the greatest deception that the world has ever seen is coming. Project Blue Beam, staged terrorism, anything to place blame away from our unsustainable credit based monetary system.
But do you really think the shroud is real, a gimmick that has generated lots of money over the years would seem more likely. God forbid someone search for the truth
