Everyone Predicted It: So Much for PreCrime

The day before the Florida shootings I mentioned the 2002 sci-fi landmark, Minority Report. And I made some bold claims which I'll back up in a post in the very near future.

But looking over this latest horror show in Parkland, it hit me like a bolt out of the blue just how antithetical to Minority Report's premise this mess is.

After all, you didn't need a pre-cog to tell you this kid was a walking time-bomb of some sort or other.

Unlike Stephen Paddock and Las Vegas, an act for which there was no warning or discernible motive (and never will be), the Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School shooting event seems to be as predictable, even inevitable, as rain at your picnic.

But by the same token, we're no longer living within the reality you grew up in. We've phase-shifted into something else, some weird twilight world where nothing seems to work the way it's supposed to.

You know it, I know it, everyone knows it.

And so we now live in a world in which a loose cannon like this Cruz kid appears to have run around totally unchecked.

And apparently either full-blown psychotic or demon-possessed. Pick one.

Or you can try door number three.

"Reportedly showed warning signs." Right.

Quite a laundry list of warning signs, in fact. I've been wracking my brains and I can't remember another shooting incident in which there have been so many red flags waving merrily in the breeze. So many that it almost starts to look suspicious in a strange way.

And look suspicious in a number of not-so-strange ways, too.

And given that his writing skills weren't especially strong and he may have in fact suffered from fetal alcohol syndrome (he looks well into the spectrum as well), Cruz seemed to show a rather advanced and sophisticated command of siege tactics while carrying out the shootings:

Well, certainly a criminal mastermind, to be sure. Cruz was then able to quickly ditch his weapon, his ammo and his gear and melt into the student population as it was evacuated. Cool customer, don't you think?

And what did this evil genius do then?

He stopped in at Mickey D's for a snack. And then he caught up with his holiday shopping at Wal-Mart. Then the cops caught up with him and he confessed to everything.

Just 'cuz Nicky the C is cold as ice.

And away we go.

First up is the ridiculous militia LARPer who claimed Cruz got his mad killin' skillz training with his white-power posse in the 'Glades.

That was good for all kinds of headlines, despite some journalists were having a bit of trouble with the sourcing and despite the fact that the Broward Co. Sheriff's office outright refuted the claim.

But hey, nothing gets clicks like "white nationalist" these days and no one's even pretending the MSM is in the business of reporting the truth anymore.

Oh man, then this bullshit. This is so surrealistically fucked it can only be D::Wave having a laugh at our expense.

Now, the MSM is working furiously to shore up the FBIs cred while they duke it out with the White House over the Russiagate imbroglio. I really don't know how this is going to help.

There's an old saying my great-grandmother used to tell me, it goes something like, "when you've lost Buzzfeed, you've lost the ballgame."

So the Feds were tipped off about a threatening message a Nikolas Cruz left on a YouTube video, something to the effect of him wanting to become a professional school-shooter.

Their defense? Let's turn to Deep State fingerpuppet Snopes:

Well, that's certainly understandable. And by "certainly understandable," I mean a total crock of shit, given that Cruz fucking posted under his real fucking name.

Not only that but he also posted a number of other, equally-threatening messages UNDER HIS REAL FUCKING NAME:

From where I sit there are only two possibilities here; either the FBI is the most blindingly-incompetent law enforcement agency since the Keystone Cops or...well, you figure it out.

And how did Snopes-- relentlessly pimped by SiliCylon Valley as Big Brother's Ministry of Truth ---adjudge these reports?

Unproven.

Why? Not because the FBI weren't tipped off but because they claimed they couldn't identify the person making these threats.

Makes sense. I mean, what did Cruz post in another video thread UNDER HIS REAL FUCKING NAME?

Well, "I wanna shoot people with my AR15" is open to interpretation, isn't it?

Snopes is a sick joke.

And let's not forget all the symbolism we've been mulling over for the past several months. Because it's all over the place here, just like we've seen with so many major news events these past few weeks.

Pearls (Marjory), Fallen Eagles, undersea life; I mean, just have a look.

And notice that "falling eagle"-- identical to the Philae-Delphi (Falling) Eagle logo-- helpfully put on display during the dramatic arrest photo.

Pointing downwards.

And this falling eagle from just a small handful of photos released from Cruz's Instagram account.

And then in one of those odd synchronicities only found in cheap novels and Demonic AI reality simulations, Olympic skater Nathan Chen experienced a devastating fall during his routine, one of 3 major gaffes that dropped him to 17th place.

3--17. Sound familiar?

Funny thing too- headlines often named Chen as a "star," and his surname means "morning."

Morning. Star. Fall.

Huh. Funny old world, isn't it?

And then this horrible story from the BBC, about a different kind of fallen eagle. From Scotland to boot. From St. Andrew's specifically, home of St. Regulus Hall.

And then this story, about the arrest of twins, planning a terror attack.

The Toro Twins, in fact. Spanish for bull. Or Taurus.

I hope you're enjoying yourself, Cosmo-Demonic Quantum AI.

Maybe a bit too much. Will someone take Cosmo-Demonic Quantum AI's keys and call him an Uber, please?

Shades of Virginia Tech, where a student so troubled couldn't have been more obvious if he had got on the roof with a bullhorn. May I predict that someone in the next year will do exactly that? Bonus bull-Taurus reference if they do.

The most depressing thought is that there is someone out there who is looking at the tactics and the body count and thinking, "I can do better". And, God help us, he probably will.

I keep saying "he", but I wonder when the "Demonic AI" (whatever its composition) will decide to up the ante and give us our first female shooter, just to fuck with us.

    3. Yep, in the mid-90's there was a female shooter on top of our "Old Main" building here at PSU. She was trying to recreate what a guy did in the 50's here. She wasn't successful, but did injure a decent number of people. She was 19 years old at the time. I don't know any other details but there was just an article about it in our digital newsletter that all PSU employees get. I'll have to read up on that case.

YouTube comments indeed are not “a strong lead” – and neither the CIA nor YouTube itself had any business “investigating” it.
Mr Knowles, if you’re joining the neo-fascist right-wing bandwagon which demands that: (a) documentary reporting (aka “yesterday’s news”), which is what Mr Cruz was commenting upon, should under any circumstances be banned as “extremist material”, and that (b) every YouTube (or blog) comment should be subject to censorship and/or the attentions of the secret services (who, like the senate/parliament etc are in fact public property)...then you have just annulled what’s left of your humanity and thereby written your own death warrant.

They tracked me for about 15 years, I was denied gov. jobs, students loans and even bank loans. I finally got access to that file in the mid 90s after a lawsuit. Guess things have changed since the bad 70s. But I never belonged to the JROTC so maybe that made a difference!

    5. Oh, I just remembered something, to continue the cointelpro comment above. One of the entries on that file was how I had been present at a university protest rally in 1980. Funny thing is I was indeed present- For about five minutes! The rally was on my way to class and I had to walk through the crowd to get to my next class and I was bothered because I was late. When they released the file I realized they could only had know I was there through almost constant surveillance. So dont give me any bs about how they cant keep tabs on people, if they could do that in 1980 to a harmless college student they can do it today to any one. Please....

It's hardly unusual for authorities to give false names in murder cases, as an easy filter to separate true leads from people who actually know something useful, from people who just read something on the news and want to talk to the police to feel important. Because there's plenty of the second.

    5. The thing here is, just because somebody has a hidden agenda, it doesn't necessarily mean that it isn't the same agenda that they tell you upfront. Let me explain: I have worked for a development charity that, as far as I could tell working from the inside, was genuinely trying to improve the lives of kids in Africa and other godforsaken places. At the same time, the marketing arm of the charity used every manipulative technique known to mankind, up to and including spinning things to the point that I was uncomfortable about the claim that they were saying the truth. Why? Well, because everybody and their uncle are manipulating people in advertising. If you don't do the same, you are bringing a knife to a gunfight. So, I can easily believe that this Valentine Day thing has been spun and outright lied about, and it comes from people that genuinely think that gun control would be a great thing. Why don't they just tell you the truth as it is? Because the unvarnished truth doesn't work any longer, when the military-industrial complex on the other side is using every MK-ULTRA trick in the book.

  9. This many attacks = a very real campaign of low intensity conflict & psychological warfare being waged on the US population. This recent article kinda gets it:

    https://psmag.com/news/dissecting-americas-muted-response-to-mass-shootings

    Quote:

"Tragedy is followed by collective anger, then a desire to help followed by a failure to see any real change happening," explains Michael Unger in Psychology Today. "Then more tragedy strikes (it is only a matter of time before the next mass shooting occurs), more anger erupts, more helplessness follows." Unger says that, as these attacks continue, "the desire to advocate for change fades and is replaced by two emotions. First, resignation, or emotional withdrawal. Second, bitterness tinged with blame, not at the person doing the shooting, but at the people who keep putting themselves in harm's way."

There are broader causes of American gun fatigue beyond the predictability of the resulting trauma cycle: the futility of gun violence prevention measures in Congress; the never-ending stream of headlines and images that inundate us on every medium; the insane pace of the American news cycle since President Donald Trump took office. One thing is clear: The U.S. is stuck in a vicious cycle, not just of bloodshed, but also of muted helplessness."

Bingo. & not just muted helplessness, but LEARNED HELPLESSNESS. That is the outcome, again & again. & what praytell, is the cumulative effect of such learned helplessness on a population? Here's a clue: learned helplessness is always the desired outcome in "enhanced interrogation methods", according to the CIA:

    https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/morning-mix/wp/2014/12/11/the-chilling-psychological-principle-behind-the-cias-interrogation-methods/?utm_term=.eb9bc88ec059

    4. Schools have been a key social control lever for generations. At least as far back as the 50s and 60s students were tested, sorted and tracked, all in elementary school, so they could be assigned their appropriate educational goals going forward. The younger among you should search "school tracking" to understand the system that allegedly was replaced/eliminated before your birth, though instead simply mutated. To this very day schools everywhere generally ask students to write a bio as part of some class assignment. Savvy parents refuse this, when they know in advance, though the vast majority do not.

Short version: it's easy to spot all the BS once we acknowledge that students have been tracked and monitored for a very long time starting from first enrollment and no school claims of "we didn't know" are credible. Full stop.

PS: As someone else noted, it now seems to be a sorting of which ox to breed and which to feed on. Animal husbandry is the perspective to remember, for it's a view many of those behind the scenes share. School tracking is your proof -just look at when the screening for Rhodes Scholars begins

In Rwanda it got going in a few days. Now I can see you saying " This is not Africa!" and you would be right, it is not, it is much worse. In Rwanda they did not have guns so they had to hack people apart with machetes, in the USA there are plenty of guns to go around. And plenty of people who are good at using guns. Ever thought about how many people are walking around having returned from 17 years of wars, some of them living in very harsh conditions of poverty and ill health? Maybe you should, and maybe think of finding ways to help them, for the good of all.

  20. You know, it's absolutely amazing so many still don't get brainwashing and how long it has been with us.

Two examples from your average TV living room 50 or so years ago:

Season 1 of Batman in 1966 had an episode called Fine Finny Fiends where Alfred the butler is taken by the Penguin. They actually show Alfred going through a condensed express version of MK-Ultra! He then responds to phone calls with a penguin cry as the trigger with no memory of anything afterwards.

Also from 1966, a season 2 episode of The Man From U.N.C.L.E. called The Bat's Cave Affair (what's this thing about MK-Ultra and bats?) has a woman believing she's hearing voices (that turn out to be radio transmissions from a comb in her hair). Get this one, her character's name is Clemency McGill! McGill? Ewan Cameron, anyone? Can it get anymore blatant and in your face and that was over 50 years ago?

Chris, Shakespeare wrote and RUSH sang 'all the world's indeed a stage and we are merely players...' Well, the show sucks hard and they should give refunds.

Just consider the current superhero obsession. Or the so called "Opiod Epidemic". Most people seem to have opted out of the world. After all, they have Facebook.

    ReplyDelete

    1. Well, people have opted out but the opioid epidemic is a deliberate, fastidious and relentless agenda from the very top down. https://www.newyorker.com/magazine/2017/10/30/the-family-that-built-an-empire-of-pain

    2. Living overseas, I just assumed that the opioid epidemic was mostly discussed and perhaps a little exaggerated by a radical/alternative crowd of social commentators.

Then I watched a real-crime-type show online, set in rural USA. The narrator casually slipped in that the majority of the town was unemployed as a result of opioid addiction.

What?!... Entire communities strung out on prescription meds?! Once-legit health clinics turning into pill-pushers? And the news media doesn't bother to tell us about this latest holocaust?...

      Delete
    3. There is absolutely an opiod epidemic. I recently lost a close friend to a heroin overdose. It started with a prescription for pain killers for a broken foot and escalated over the years. The pills, combined with a proclivity to addiction, was a deadly combination. He left behind a wife, two small children and many friends. I live in a "middle class" area and through my outer circle, I know 5 people who have died from opiod addiction (1 suicide and the rest overdoses) and all but 1 of them were in their mid to late 30's. It's truly devastating.

      Delete
    4. There seems to be a new scam emerging with the opioid mess, which is regular people are being denied painkillers (on public safety grounds) that used to be prescribed for extreme temporary pain, like dental work. Instead there are more and more complaints about ineffective lesser drugs offered, like ibupfrofen and other crap that's basically just a stronger version of some OTC stuff.

Where might this callous disregard for legitimate pain lead desperate non-addicts? The black market and/or medical marijuana are the two most obvious answers.

      Delete
    5. Chris, thanks for posting that article. It makes me so angry and it also makes sense why so many in their 30's are dying of overdoses.

From the article: "If you look at the prescribing trends for all the different opioids, it’s in 1996 that prescribing really takes off,” Kolodny said. “It’s not a coincidence. That was the year Purdue launched a multifaceted campaign that misinformed the medical community about the risks.”

Very, very true. I was 18 at that time and getting opioids from the doctor was easy-peasy and it was normal for people to pass around Vicodin or Oxy. People I know are dying of overdoses and that family has fucking wings at museums named after them. Disgusting.

    6. Kinda hard to run an exposé when news directors are more concerned about not pissing off a potential billion dollar advertiser (in this case legal heroin dealers) and your average journalist is just as lazy as the average politician not willing to do a little basic research and simply reads a pamphlet handed to them funded by the guilty party. A lot of the mess felt today is in no small part the result of the lobbying efforts of The American Pain Foundation towards the media and legislators in the States. They are essentially a PR group funded by the "legal drug" cartel operators who advocated for things like "the risk of addiction is overblown and opioids are underused." They even helped block the earliest class action lawsuits against manufacturers in the early festering days of the opioid crisis.

Hopefully as people become more aware, those involved at Purdue Pharmaceuticals and the other opiate cartels will be remembered on equal footing with el Chapo, Escobar et al. But in the cases of the later, they were only greedy and willing to murder their competitors as "businessman." They didn't lie to their customers about the safety of the products they offered or employ the trusted labcoat wearing doctor class to peddle their drugs.

I personally have no problems with the legality of any drug, however
I want the actual facts of the risks associated with consuming them. It's absolutely unconscionable that any human would predatorily rent seek another in a non-mutual way.

How long this can continue to go on for before things irreparably burst for all of us I don't know, whatever keeps the show on the road might be some kind of perpetual motion machine, considered from this blink of eye wrinkle in time plane of existence, or maybe the showrunners understand It could end any moment but lack the kenning to live life differently in the face of certain annihilation.

  27. "Cruz seemed to show a rather advanced and sophisticated command of siege tactics while carrying out the shootings"

Maybe not surprisingly, this did not raise a red flag with me. I have seen grade school children exhibit extraordinary siege tactics and combat skills in the simulated world of the "Call of Duty" video game series. These kids are being taught advanced tactics through this online combat simulator/recruiting (scouting?) tool from an early age.

This tragic, clearly predicted and avoidable event stinks to high heavens, but the smell is very different than what we normally get with these situations. I think everyone who is looking at this rationally instead of emotionally can see that it is "off" somehow.

  28. The problem here is there are thousands of teens ALONE, like this across America, and they give off all these warning signs to peers, family and on social media. So what does the FBI do? What do authorities, including medical psychiatric, do? Arrest thousands, and incarcerate them, and for how long?? based on the chance they might go postal? Most of them won't do anything, except maybe kick a cat or beat up some smaller kid in the school, most of them just live in violent fantasy land and stay there. Legally and ethically, the authorities are in a bind. It's always easy after the fact, to say ah we should have known with this one. There are thousands of others like him, hundreds at minimum, if not thousands, in single states like Cal, Penn, NY, Illinois. Alone. Sure making those public threats is illegal. So imagine the FBI pick him up, then what? Eventually he is released, eventually he goes on a spree. The psychiatric authorities cannot help these types, they are understaffed, overworked and medicate the kids to suppress symptoms, which only makes things worse.

My point is there is no easy solution to this problem. We have to look at the upbringing, the broken homes, the vapid culture, the bullying reflecting off a deeper coercive violence in society, every man for himself etc. But neither of the knee-jerkers on either side of the gun debate is looking at the deeper problems. What is revealing, as you imply Chris, is the way Left and Right respond, which tells us more about them than the shooter. They just project their nonsense onto Cruz. As you say, the white power posse nonsense. And some of the shrill conservatives were saying he was antifa, but he wasn't an actual member here neither. They both use these tragedies to further their own agendas, whilst missing the actual psychopath and his actual environment etc. The again, they would have to abandon their ideologies to do that...

    1. One time at school (in the 60s) we were shown an anti-gun movie so in hindsight this "movement" has been around a long time. I remember making the basic 11 year old comment to the teacher that kids would pick up a stick and point at another while pretending it's a gun, so eliminating violent toys (a premise in the movie) was pretty pointless. My teacher did not like that.

      Delete
    2. Yes, it started back then, it was heavily promoted by churches who had even dangerous toys collection drives to destroy them. Also churches and schools were against comic books as something evil to be destroyed. At least my parents were never into that nonsense.

  34. These shooter stories often contain a glaring hole scrupulously ignored by the press, the public and the politicians, yet it seems key and may be present in this story as well.

In particular, many young shooters are described by long-time friends and family as generally quiet and peaceful, Yet others invariably mention a change in mood or interest and a developing interest in guns and violence. What is never mentioned, though, is how that interest was translated into the skills to use a weapon and kill. I first noticed this in the Gifford's story, which practically screamed "who taught this kid?" Same with Sandy Hook and Lanza's allegedly videogame-honed mad killer skillz. Though in that case some may say he never pulled a trigger. In any case, either the patsy needs to be "trained up" to complete the mission or is offed to complete the patsy role, perhaps after getting cold feet.

Mapping over the usual FBI pattern for creating "home grown terrorist" patsies by introducing marginalized kids to weapons and bombs, these school shootings are almost certainly just another re-branding of an established deep state program that's already been done to death. Literally.

  36. But wait...if he was expelled more than a year ago, how did Cruz enter the school. Obviously, if they were vigilant enough to have active shooter drills, the campus perimeter wouldn't have been porous, right?

And if he was a "white supremacist" (only comment I saw was anti antifa) why kill 16 whites and one heroic Chinese kid. (Chang held the door for those escaping, and so was stationary)

I mean, there were black kids in the school.
Like Paddock, the msm just states a bunch of facts with no concern for whether they make sense(which is why I quit). They seem to expect the bs to just wash over in a babbling tide until something more interesting comes along like Jennifer Aniston and Justin breaking up. (A timely distraction, in my opinion.)

(Aniston = Innana. Is Pitt the Shepherd consort, and dark edgy hipster Justin, the lord of the Underworld where the goddess journeyed briefly?)
