I burned a lot of bandwidth in the early days of The Secret Sun talking about comics legend Jack Kirby. Some folks dismissed it as fanboy indulgence, until Kirby's delirious psychedelic visions of modern-day gods, angels and demons conquered Hollywood and defined pop culture for an entire decade.
