Roses are Red, Violets are Blue, It Never Ends.


Well, it's been nearly a year and a half since Soundgarden frontman Chris Cornell died on the Detroit River and there's been a never-ending rollercoaster ride of highly nutritious synchery ever since. And since timing is everything, we keep getting hit over the head with what I like to call the "emerging archetypal dominants" on account of it being the Great Unveiling and all.

So it's only natural that the Apollo Chris Cornell statue was unveiled today, and the festivities were bathed in an eerie glow of Violaine.

Well, here we are yet again. Apparently the Siren Songs in Hobart and Perth were just warmups, because now the same folks behind those explicit and self-acknowledged public rituals have brought their act to England. Ipswich, Suffolk, England to be precise.

Calling Up the Devil and Asking Him to Behave



Well, it's been quite a week. Seems like I've been saying that a lot lately. But despite the atrocity and upheaval, it's also been an elucidating week, in that some persistent delusions have been shattered.

One of those delusions is that you can summon demons and expect them to do your bidding.
