Super Bowl 2021: a Weeknd in Las Vegas

Twin Brady led the Templar Bay Buccaneers to their Twinth Super Bowl win, along with fellow former New England Baphomet Rob Gronkowski. The Templar defense held the Kansas City Secret Chiefs to a measly (council of) nine points, or one for every Super Bowl Twin Brady has played in. Note 12+87=99.

It was indeed an exciting day for the NFLim and Twins everywhere.

Welcome Back, My Friends, To the Show That Never Ends, We're So Glad You Could Attend, Come Inside, Come Inside

Well, well, well. Interesting to see the series finale of The Apprentice: White House end on a cliffhanger like this. It's a good thing we can't go anywhere because I have a feeling we are in for a rollicking round of ruddy ritualism in the days ahead.

I just miss the days when reality TV was unscripted.

It's Not "Coming." It's Here.

Like I say in the headline, it - meaning the Brave New World - isn't coming, it's here. It's all out in the open, it's just that 99% of the population doesn't understand the language its all couched in.

Notre Dame Fire: Flame on the Crown of Her Influence

The landmark Notre Dame cathedral in Paris was heavily damaged by fire yesterday. Happily, much of the structure is intact and many of the priceless works of art had either been previously moved or were rescued.

Great Restoration Watch: The Measure of a Ram

You know the drill-- so many rituals, so little time. A lot of topics we were discussing in the previous post popped up (give or take) in the Borgsong this past week, so indulge me as I drop a few fresh gold-dust-rush nuggets in your virtual sluice-pan...

Sunday brings us the Super Bloody Castle Wolfenstein Moon (or whatever), so as you would expect lots of different folks are getting ready to ride those moon-waves.

Dog Days: The Hits Just Keep On Coming

NOTE: Scroll down for updates

Well, the Sun is blazing all across the globe. It's summer- the Dog Days- and the symbols are flying like grackles in the grove. It seems like I'm doing a lot of these posts recently, but you gotta fish when they're bitin'.

That blue and gold Sol there is from a story in the UK press- the British company is paying off illegal immigrants at Calais to go back home. I guess wages have been driven down enough.

For the time being, at least.

Mermaids and Man-Things

Or should that say "Best of Sumer?"

Well, summer's here and the time is right for Sirius symbolism. Here's my old neighbor Marky Mark hamming it up with Will Farrell, who'll be playing the part of Oannes for us. That 116 sure is a strange number, until you add it up and get- of course- 17.

King Tut: Sacred Icon of the Restoration Revelation

There are no two ways about it- King Tut is an international superstar.
There are two touring exhibits of his tomb's treasures (minus the priceless sarcophagus) that have been record sellouts across Europe and North America, moving hundreds of thousands of tickets during a global recession.

"Mr. President, You Look Like King Tut"

So many strands coming together here- Barackobamun as the avatar of restoration, compared to King Tut by none other than Zahi Hawass himself. This is no surprise to attentive readers of this blog, but it's still quite remarkable to see that CNN is now pushing this meme.

Twilight of the (Teen) Idols

When I look for the number 17, I'm usually doing so in a particular context. I'm looking for the number to tie into an overarching narrative, linking to themes of restoration. Osiris died on the 17th, and Horus represented the restoration of his father's rightful throne. Horus himself was the last god to rule Egypt, so in my eyes he represents the restoration of that order of things.
