Never-Ending Rituals: Ka of Hathor-Isis on the Mall

Well, this week began with a mass shooting event that just happened to fall on the Occultation of Aldebaran (identified with the Archangel Michael), then saw Trump and Melania's weird diplomatic rituals in Japan (that just happened to symbolically harmonize with an astral Journey to the Underworld), the Masonic Tercentennial, the opening of the Bloomberg SPACE Mithraeum, the "Scream at the Sky" ritual lament and the announcement of a performance of the deadly "Siren Song" mass ritual in Perth next February.

What can this week possibly do for an encore?

I'm not sure why The Guardian chose to write about it now, but the city of Perth has its arts festival coming up in February. And apparently the program for the festival is-- and I quote-- "full of ritual."

Of course it is. Because sooner than you think, everything will be. 

It's Beginning to Look a Lot like Mithras.

I've been ranting on about Mithras since I opened this blog and lo and behold, Bloomberg finally premiere their new SPACE headquarters with the enclosed Mithraeum, smack dab in the middle of the Never-Ending Ritual. And a day after the Grand Lodge of England posted video of the Tercentennial at the Royal Albert Hall on Halloween.

I'm sorry; is this actually the real world or am I in some kind of Audrey Horne coma and am lucid-dreaming old Secret Sun posts all night and day?

It's 2017 and it's the 300th Anniversary of the establishment of the Grand Lodge of England. In public, Freemasons will swear up and down that the Craft was created out of whole cloth on that day but amongst themselves will reveal that it is in fact much, much older.

Stranger Things: The Viper's Nest

Gordon White of Rune Soup, Raj Sisodia of Amid Night Suns and I have a round table on Stranger Things 2, which-- spoiler alert-- none of us liked. I was particularly disappointed by this season because I was very much hoping they would push the issues raised in the first season to the next level. 

It didn't work out that way, did it?
