Drunk on the Blood of the Saints

Well, quite an eventful month so far. Especially in the context of signs, wonders and portents. As well as things in the Heavens finding mirrors here on Earth.

Holy Week kicked off this year with the inferno at Notre Dame Paris, which was ostensibly caused by a "computer glitch." I don't quite understand the mechanics of how a fire like that was caused by a "computer glitch," but what do I know about anything, right? Not much.

Even so, I shudder to think what kind of Brutalist monstrosity President Jupiter Ammon and his cronies will construct in its place, but you can say that about pretty much everything anymore.

Somehow, it seems like the next phase of the Big Plan kicked in without any fanfare, especially so in Europe.

And erasing the past-- from Beijing to Baghdad to Boston-- is a major plank in the platform. Year Zero demands nothing less.

A lot of researchers have pointed out the Templar connections to the blaze, given the fact that no less a figure than Jacques DeMolay was immolated in Notre Dame's courtyard.

Having done quite a bit of research on the Knights, I'd never count anything out (not given the concurrent fire at the Al-Asqa Mosque). Especially given the connections, however tenuous, between the KTJ and the Christchurch massacres, ostensibly carried out by a man who not only has the looks, skills and travel habits of the very archetype of an SAS operative, but quite possibly that of a KTJ provocateur.

But again, not for me to say. But this news item-- a computer game studio who've raked in billions of dollars trading on the Templar legacy are pledging big Euros towards the rebuilding efforts-- has been itching at my brains quite a bit lately.

Far, far worse than the Notre Dame was the Easter Sunday bombings in Columbo, Sri Lanka that killed nearly 300 people and injured several hundred more besides. Suspicion has fallen on a local Islamicist cult, but they're still in the early stages of the investigation.

These bombings are as horrible as they are portentous. Western media does its level-best to back-page the issue, but there have been several massacres of Christians lately, especially in Africa. But now that the cancer is spreading to Asia, specifically to non-Muslim majority countries that have historically proven not to have a surplus of patience with these kinds of actions, you have to start to weigh the greater possibilities here.

Christians are a relatively small minority in Sri Lanka, but my gut tells me the real aim here is to provoke over-reaction from the Buddhist majority, similar to how many have categorized the actions of the Myanmar government against militant Rohingya separatists. That in turn could trigger a counter-reaction from Islamicist factions, and around it goes.

But you don't come to The Secret Sun for dime-store geopolitical speculation, you're here for the decoding. So let me just tell you what caught my eye during the Holy Week Horror-Show.

Do you remember Knowles' First Law? Sure you do.

Here's a new candidate, a kerfuffle rising up over the DNCs apparent directive that their luminaries avoid the problematic "Christians" in favor of "Easter worshippers."

The expected outcry arose in conservative quarters, but me being not quite right in the head, I couldn't help but wonder if "Easter worshippers" was a double entendre for...

..."Ishtar worshippers."

Now, I know some bright spark is going to pipe up about how they read on Wikipedia that there's no connection between Eostre and Ishtar. It's just total coincidence that there are two Queens of Heaven associated with the dawn (read: Venus) with what are essentially identical names.

But let's just rewind the calendar to 11 days before Easter Sunday, when the Black Hole Sun made its big debut. What's the connection?

Well, officially Messier 87 (where the Black Hole Sun is apparently located) is in Virgo, but it's not a stretch at all to figure some folks back in the days before radio telescopes would reckon M87 was actually in Coma Berenices, named after the ancient Greco-Egyptian queen.

I've laid out why I am convinced that Coma Berenices is the Whore of Babylon, a label you'd expect ancient Christians to tag any powerful queen with. But all the more so given Coma's proximity to the alignment I believe represents the Beast from the Sea of Revelation 13.

So, in light of the Black Hole Sun's close proximity to Coma, is it possible that the ultimate fate of Mystery Babylon the Great is somehow connected? Could this passage be interpreted as an imploding star? Let's read together:
Revelation 17:16: The beast and the ten horns you saw will hate the prostitute. They will bring her to ruin and leave her naked; they will eat her flesh and burn her with fire.

The reason I ask, and the reason I came to believe this conjunction here represented the Beast of the Sea was because of this recent story about the so-called Zombie Star...

The reason being is that this cosmic oddity is being observed in Ursa Major. Those of you who didn't sleep through Sunday School will be reminded of this famous passage from Revelation:
2 And the beast which I saw was like unto a leopard, and his feet were as the feet of a bear, and his mouth as the mouth of a lion: and the dragon gave him his power, and his seat, and great authority.
3 And I saw one of his heads as it were wounded to death; and his deadly wound was healed: and all the world wondered after the beast.
4 And they worshipped the dragon which gave power unto the beast: and they worshipped the beast, saying, Who is like unto the beast? who is able to make war with him?

The Zombie Star is not only in Ursa Major, it's located near its head (between Messier 81 and Messier 82). As you can see, the tail of Draco-- the Dragon-- points directly at the Zombie Star, giving "power" to the Beast.

So with the fatal head-wound of the Beast --and quite possibly the Fall of Mystery Babylon-- now reportedly visible in the skies, one has to wonder at the bloodshed on Easter-Eostre synching up with the Whore of Babylon (Ishtar's temples doubled as brothels in the ancient kingdom) getting drunk on the Blood of the Saints.
Revelation 17:3 So he carried me away in the spirit into the wilderness: and I saw a woman sit upon a scarlet coloured beast, full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns.
4 And the woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet colour, and decked with gold and precious stones and pearls, having a golden cup in her hand full of abominations and filthiness of her fornication:
5 And upon her forehead was a name written, Mystery, Babylon The Great, The Mother Of Harlots And Abominations Of The Earth.
6 And I saw the woman drunken with the blood of the saints, and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus: and when I saw her, I wondered with great admiration.
I can't make any claims-- politically or theologically-- about these terrible events. All I can do is point out the parallelisms and how they line up with the overall exegesis I'm fumbling around trying to understand.

Here's another example: we recently saw images of the Dragon aurora reportedly taken in Iceland, here now is the Beauty and the Beast (read: Virgo-Leo) aurora, also recorded in Iceland. These images were packaged in the usual Nic Cage movie kind of hyperbole, but I I thought I'd just plant a flag on the synchery for future reference.

Remember also that Eostre-Easter is also roughly analogous to Aurora (AKA Eos), goddess of the Dawn.

Before I forget, I should also point out that April is the month in which Coma Berenices rises to its apex or highest point in the night sky. Just a little bonus synchery for you.

Speaking of the stars and religious conflict, I should note that we also recently saw the tragic death of Irish journalist Lyra McKee at the hands of a new IRA splinter-group.

I should also point out that McKee's tragic passing coincided with the Lyrids, meaning the meteor shower emanating from the position of Lyra in the night sky.

We also saw this extremely strange story of Sol Pais ("the Country of the Sun") traveling to Colorado because of her obsession with the Columbine massacre, whose 20th anniversary passed on Saturday.

This story is so weird I can't even begin to speculate on it, starting with the fact that the allegedly 18 year-old Pais looks more like 18+18 years-old to me, if not much older.

There's also her apparent 1990s obsession, made manifest on her Neocities website. Clearly a woman of highly refined taste.

And for our purposes, her screen name is taken from a Massive Attack song...

...from Mezzanine, which the band is touring to commemorate this year. Call me crazy, but I'm getting a strong whiff of Nasim Aghdam with this weird and tragic story.

Then there is also the FLAP* of the location she apparently chose to end her life. Remember that Boleskine House- once owned by Clan Fraser and sold to Edward Alexander Crowley-- went on sale the same day Sol is said to have committed suicide.

IN OTHER RELIGIOUS NEWS

This story doesn't surprise me, but it makes me sad nonetheless. American Christianity stood at a crossroads in the early 90s: it could have gone forward in a more expansive direction, building on the work being done by engaged scholars and theologians (not meaning the Spong-Crossan-Jesus Seminar brand of crypto-atheism, mind you) or it could continue to be used as a cudgel by certain elements within the Republican Party for entirely political and economic reasons.

Plot-twist: the majority chose the latter.

Of course, this followed on the earlier example of the so-called Mainline churches, which allowed themselves to be seduced by the UN-Internationalist crowd after World War II, and we all know how that worked out. (Hint: disastrously)

It seems most of the reported decline here is from the Mainliners, which pretty much everyone agrees are on their last legs. But I'd wager most of the reported Evangelical growth is in the Pentecostal churches, and most of that is down to immigration.

I don't belong to a church anymore but it still makes me very sad. The same way it made me sad 25 years ago that there didn't seem to be any churches I could belong to. That made me extremely sad.

From Christianity to Cringeianity: Organized Satanism, the perennial chiller of douches, is getting another big push, or at least the Safe-Space brand of Satanism is. Any worry over a new Satanic Panic will probably be allayed by this documentary, since the Power of Cringe is so strong with these sad sacks that you can't imagine anyone being seduced by their pitch.

Then again, the problem is never the campy, cringey Organized Satanism. It's the disorganized variety --the kind that filters down into the trailer parks and housing projects-- that you really need to worry about.

POSTSCRIPT:  Some British alleged "journalist" went on a sorry-not sorry bender about the bombings, which he seemed to feel were kind of OKish, seeing how Christians were allegedly proselytizing to the tsunami victims they were rescuing.

I actually weighed in on this one with a brief observation, but the "journalist" in question didn't respond yet. Shockingly.

Hey, on another topic entirely: ever see The Year of Living Dangerously? Good flick. You should check it out. No idea what brought it to mind.
