Secret Sun Picture Parade: Pieces of Eight

UPDATE: Did you know the Knights Templar have been recognized as an NGO by the United Nations? The Rosslyn Templars link reports that "The UN has given the Templars "special consultative status" on peace talks in the Middle East, as they continue to carry out work in Jerusalem, where the order was founded in 1152."

Now, that is interesting.

UPDATE II: Not as interesting as this: Curious octopus causes flood at aquarium
SANTA MONICA, Calif. (AP) — Staff at the Santa Monica Pier Aquarium in California say the trickster who flooded their offices with sea water was armed. Eight-armed, to be exact. They blame the soaking they discovered Tuesday morning on the aquarium's resident two-spotted octopus, a tiny female known for being curious and gregarious with visitors.
The octopus apparently tugged on a valve and that allowed hundreds of gallons of water to overflow its tank. Aquarium spokeswoman Randi Parent says no sea life was harmed by the flood, but the brand new, ecologically designed floors might be damaged by the water.
Boy, talk about Synchronicity.

UPDATE III: Da Beeb (file named 7910335.stm)
President Barack Obama has unveiled a $3.6tn (£2.5tn) budget for 2010, aiming to pull the US out of financial crisis.

He has predicted the budget deficit for the current year will be $1.75 tn, which is 12.3% of annual output and the biggest since World War II
