SANTA MONICA, Calif. (AP) — Staff at the Santa Monica Pier Aquarium in California say the trickster who flooded their offices with sea water was armed. Eight-armed, to be exact. They blame the soaking they discovered Tuesday morning on the aquarium's resident two-spotted octopus, a tiny female known for being curious and gregarious with visitors. The octopus apparently tugged on a valve and that allowed hundreds of gallons of water to overflow its tank. Aquarium spokeswoman Randi Parent says no sea life was harmed by the flood, but the brand new, ecologically designed floors might be damaged by the water.Boy, talk about Synchronicity.

Nice work. Another interesting synch regarding Pieces of Eight (the Spanish new world currency that the American dollar sign is based upon, BTW) is that Tom Hanks has been drafted to restart the supercollider, which suddenly connects all things Tom Hanks (my fav being The Da Vinci Code) to Lucerne.

Regarding the "Octo-Mom", I think it's sort of interesting that Cher of all people went on record today, describing her as "someone who is not of this world."

Michael- you'll appreciate this - back in 92 I was out at Disney eating at the big domed-ceiling commissary that makes every silverware tinkle sound like the clap of creation. We were with the Disney license supervisor who hatedmy boss and this wacked-out old garmento who was acutally wearing a brown double knit three piece suit. In 1992.
So Tom Hanks walks in and stands right behind me. And the idiot garmento points and says "Tom Hanks- there's Tom Hanks" even though he was less than 5 feet away from the guy. And the entire restaurant comes to a dead silence, exactly like in a movie. My point? Tom Hanks was actually remarkably handsome in person.

CHRIS! This is too much, that Tom Hanks-CERN thing really just capped it for me I think. Honestly, WTF is going on!? I have so much angst over this constant barrage of weirdness that I feel like I'm going to pop! Is THAT truly what is coming on a Grand scale? Find out the background of that doctor, I'm sure that could answer some questions. As I'm sure you probably already know that most of these individuals belong to companies that employ occult symbols.
Chris - That's pretty much the way I see it. The octagon is a representation of a 4th dimensional cube (tesseract), so I'm pretty sure some high occult stuff is going on, and since everyone's drinking the kool aid when it comes to Obama, I wouldn't be surprised if some love magick was being applied, both on Obama and on his audience, through him. I'm not sure if it means an end to the super-disturbing black magick stuff going on (wish it was), the love magick seems to be more of a distraction.

Lynnertic - It's all in Chaos Magick. There's a form of magick for each color (red=war, yellow=ego, green=love, black=death, and so on). It's not really necessary to read up on, but I think it's interesting, especially when you see how the colors are used in mainstream media. Opens you up to pretty dark possibilities, though...

My undergraduate thesis was on Mithraic symbolism, so I am curious to read more about the connection with astronauts/NASA.
Here is a connection between Mithras and 8: In hindu mythology Mitra is one of the 8 solar deities born of the mother/earth goddess Aditi. The Indo-Iranian word mitra translates as contract, oath or friend. And I believe Mithras also was the Roman deity protecting contracts.
In Vedic astrology Mitra is the deity associated with the nakshatra Anurada in the constellation of Scorpio -- containing the star Alpha Centauri -- the closest star to our own solar system -- which is currently under consideration by NASA to contain an "Earth Twin".
This connection to Scorpio may explain some of the cosmology of the Roman Mithraic sculpture which often depicts a Scorpion attacking the cosmic bull's testicles. (Some UFO enthusiasts might suggest that it's pointing to an ancient battle between Dragos (Sco) and Pleidians (Taur))?
Although my own Mithric research was done 30 years ago, I seem to remember that the entire zodiac was depicted in the symbols and that the tauroctony represented the entire cosmos. Taurus-Scorpio axis marks points in time and space that measure our connection to the galactic center. The two light bearers hold torches -- one points up, the other down perhaps symbolizing the descending and ascending cycles of consciousness (yugas).
It seems our consciousness is being stirred by all these ancient archetypes.

I didn't know about the broadcast of TDESS to Alpha Centauri -- "fascinating". . .
I haven't come across any specific references to the analemma, or leminscate, in Vedic texts (sanskrit), but I wouldn't be surprised if they did address it. . . the ancient seers were aware of the 23.5 degree tilt and accurately tracked the precession of the ages. I think the earliest historical records of the Analemma are from Sumeria -- no surprise. It's connection to the infinity sign is probably due to the eternal nature of the sun. (In Vedic traditions 8 is more connected to Saturn.)

It should be noted that in gematria or gimatria (a system of assigning numerical value to an alphabet), the epithet "messiah" (Hebrew: māshīaḥ lit., anointed) transposes to "444", being a derivative of the name "Yeshua" (Jesus) which transposes to "888".
Both terms are associated with the 8th letter of the Hebrew alphabet, being the "het" or "chet", which is equal to the 8th letter in the Latin/English alphabet, being the "H". Even in Greek the "H" is used as the number "8".
Synchs well with 17, as 1+7 = 8.
Now, if you examine biblical literature, the chet literally symbolizes everything that has to do with the Messiah and His Redemptive Deed upon the Cross of Calvary, being the number of resurrection, healing, wholeness, rejuvenation, restoration, renewal, new beginning, Divine protection, and it is said to be the number of super abundant prosperity.
Based on some research that I did on the Trans-Universal Superstructure, it appears that the term “8” and the vibratory frequency embedded in it form a type of “Christ Code”, because this term permeates the entire everything from the Macrocosm to the Microcosm down into the subatomic level where it is the highest number generated in the equations of Superstring M-Theory, a mathematically feature that is not yet understood, but appears to be a “Numeric Signature” or “Numeric Fingerprint” that identifies “Yeshua” (Jesus) as the Creator. Consequently (as Jordan Maxwell would say), it will only be a matter of time before the “God Equation” is a reality, proving the existence of God mathematically.

- there are a total of 17 (17=1+7=8) organs that comprise both the male and female reproductive systems
- Pi, 3.14, sums to 8 (3+1+4=8)
