Atlantis, Phoenicia, and the Knights Templar

He who rules the waves, rules the world. It’s been a truism since the Romans called the Mediterranean Mare Nostrum, meaning “Our Sea.”

And even though the age of the Pax Americana is now receding, it has been the historically unparalleled strength of the U.S. Navy that kept the sea lanes open and free from the predations of pirates and plunderers.

It may also be hard to believe now, given the sad state that the invaded and occupied nation is currently in (thanks to its traitorous regent and foreign elites), but the British once ruled the largest empire the world had ever seen with their own naval power.

And lurking like wraiths at the frontiers of all naval power are the legendary navigators of Atlantis, whose myths and stories have fired the imagination since Plato first recounted the accounts the great Greek sage Solon had first heard in Egypt.

HERCULEAN

Given the immense importance the Phoenicians—and nearly everyone else—gave to the Pillars of Hercules, it may be that the Pillars play an important part in the lost history of the Mediterranean.

And part of this has to do with the eternal quest for the lost city-state of Atlantis, which could be the link between the Phoenicians of Asia Minor and the later maritime powers of northern Europe.

Now, Ignatius Donnelly may be seen as a crank by historians, but his work makes for a useful review on what a lot of people who ran in his circles actually believed:

And it was the Phoenicians who brought Atlantean religion and culture to the ancient world. Sanchoniathon claims that the learning of Egypt, Greece, and Judæa was derived from the Phoenicians.

It would appear probable that, while other races represent the conquests or colonizations of Atlantis, the Phoenicians succeeded to their arts, sciences, and especially their commercial supremacy. — Ignatius Donnelly, Atlantis: the Antediluvian World

Modern commissars may scoff, but ancient historians took Atlantis very seriously. And there’s no shortage of powerful people throughout history who never got the memo that Atlantis is just a “myth.”

Hell, you could count Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell in that category.
