Funny because it's literally true, or depressing because it's literally true? Or both?
Come on over to the Secret Sun Institute of Advanced Synchromysticism and check out my new podcast on 1982, the Year of Peak Cinema. There's much, much more on offer so don't delay, not even a nanosecond. We'll still be here when you get back.
Back again? Everything go smoothly? Great.
Then let's rock our socks off to this 1982-adjacent vid for my latest fave-rave. Clutch have always been a take it or leave it proposition for me, but THIS IS MY JAM. Instant classic.
I THINK YOU OWE ME A GREAT BIG APOLOGY
Does anyone still deny this?
I'M LOVIN' IT
This is the most entertaining presidency ever, as well as a never-ending exercise in pure, undiluted schadenfreude. The 2020 Election was the greatest Pyhrric victory in American history, and if Zuckerberg and all his cronies aren't weeping and gnashing now for shoving this corrupt husk into the Oval Orifice, just wait until all their stock prices crater a bit more. Well, a lot more.
It's been a huge win-win by my reckoning, not only because I have never and will never trust Donald Trump, but it's been unspeakably entertaining watching Grandpa Dribblecup embarrass, humiliate and depress the entire power structure. And since the Establishment in the Social Media Age is absolutely nothing but one giant, soulless hivemind, none of those credentialed shit-birds dare say a single honest word about this delicious train-wreck.
Priceless. Absolutely priceless. Though I've said as much before, haven't I?
You've heard of SJW's, right? Well, meet an SLW.
LOOKS LIKE ANOTHER SHITTY SEQUEL
There is only one Stranger Things - the first season. All the others are impostors.
And "Separate Ways?" No one was listening to that song in 1988.
WHAT THE HELL AM I LOOKING AT?
Long years of experience have taught me there are probably people who take this completely seriously.
SLAVE TO THE GRIND
I'M GOING TO TELL MY GRANDKIDS THIS WAS NIRVANA
MEMES FOR MEMES' SAKE
Well, if it's hiring that or a woke, danger-haired Millennial, I'll take my chances with the mountain lion, thank you for asking.
