Well, here we are again. Last year I posted a series of articles interpreting the Book of Revelation as a stellar narrative, with all of the phantasmagorical creatures scholars have puzzled over for two thousand years as being clear and stunningly simple descriptions of conjunctions of various constellations.
I also posited that the stellar maps weren't just a primer on astronomy but prophesied particular events according to these conjunctions. Now I think we have confirmation for that.
I can't make any cosmological or theological claims here, I'm just pointing out the co-incidences here. It's up to you how to interpret all this.
I'll just say that I agree with many Early Church Fathers that the Book of Revelation is a fundamentally Gnostic text and based in the stellar mysticism that was universal at the time, orthodox historical revisionism be damned.
So with the Coronavirus and the mind-melting plague of locusts ravaging East Africa and Asia, let's wind the clock back and take a look at my interpretation of the Locusts from the Pit in Revelation 9.
Afterwards, I explain how this all pertains to what is happening today. You can choose to see it as prophecy or synchronicity or simple coincidence, it really doesn't make any difference in the long run.
"LOCUSTS FROM THE PIT": REVELATION 9
I'm not exactly sure what the locusts themselves are meant to represent-- my guess may be a particularly-violent Draconids meteor shower, but the text clearly takes us from Corona Borealis (the Northern Crown) to Corona Australis (the Southern Crown).

Do note that Saint John of Patmos didn't seem to hold the southern celestial hemisphere in particularly high regard.

REVELATION 9:11 And they had a king over them, (CORONA AUSTRALIS) which is the angel of the bottomless pit, whose name in the Hebrew tongue is Abaddon, but in the Greek tongue hath his name Apollyon. (Apollo was associated with arrows and archery).
OK, so we clearly have inarguable correspondences to constellations traveling across the night sky from Corona Borealis to Corona Australis.
I don't think I need to explain the significance of Corona.
But what is the significance of a correlation between Corona and Locusts and the Dragon?
Simple, really...
