Yuck. Just yuck.
NorMaDonna Desmond has long since become the Queen of Cringe. Worse, she seems lost in a temporal bubble in which she's still young, hot and relevant, and desecrating religious iconography is still edgy.
I mean, a lot of us miss the late Eighties too. But I suppose we don't have the resources to live there forever. Madonna does, and the results are heartbreaking.
Madonna has dedicated enormous sums of her admittedly-sizable fortune to staving off the ravages of Kronos, and if you can overlook the fact that she's basically a synthetic being at this point, she looks comparatively well-preserved for a woman in her mid-sixties.
Which makes it all the more tragic that she needs to paste decades-old photos of herself on her new tour poster. She's booked some rather large halls - two nights at Madison Square Garden, for instance - and I can't help but wonder how many of these dates will canceled due to "scheduling conflicts."
I mean, are there really that many sixty year-old gay dudes who haven't already gotten their fill of whatever Madge is serving?
I guess what Madonna is serving up now is 1989 nostalgia, so maybe not.
In an exclusive interview for the piece, Madonna talks about feminism, sexuality, religion and diversity, with a focus on her career-long battle against the patriarchy and the price she’s had to pay for sticking to her guns over the past four decades in the public eye.
Wow, "feminism, sexuality, religion and diversity?" A "battle against the patriarchy?" How daring! How, how... transgressive, Madonna.
Transgressive for 1989, that is.
In a time when multinational death-cultists are enshrining 1989-vintage transgression into draconian law, it's all just weak, corny, desperate - and worst of all - deadly boring.
I can't help but wonder if there isn't more than a hint of sarcasm in this spiel, a bit of exasperation at Madge's thermonuclear narcissism:
“Madonna’s career has a biblical dimension, a universal scope,” Galliano told the magazine. “The first time I saw her, she was already inspired, fearless, with integrity and artistic pride.” VF‘s European editorial director Simone Marchetti, who conducted the interview, added, “Madonna accepted not only to be part of a fashion shoot but on an artistic project that is the representation of the values that she embodied in the last 40 years."
Of course, the "values that Madonna's embodied over the last 40 years" are now iron-fisted corporate diktat, which you question at the risk of having your life utterly destroyed.
Don't believe me? Well, look at the vicious Woke pig-piling on Piers Morgan for pointing out the painfully-obvious.
Piers Morgan has been blasted by critics for “misogynistic” remarks he expressed about Madonna, ahead of her 40th anniversary world tour.
On Wednesday’s instalment of the broadcaster’s TalkTV chat show Piers Morgan Uncensored (18 January), Morgan, 57, claimed that the “Vogue” singer, 64, should be “put out to pasture” while calling her a “hot mess”.
He went on to criticise the way in which the musician announced Madonna: The Celebration Tour, the recently announced world tour that will visit 35 cities across the globe. The singer announced the news in a video starring famous friends including Diplo, Jack Black, Lil Wayne, and Amy Schumer with a nod to her 1991 film Truth or Dare.
Morgan criticised the artist for her clothing choices and creative expression, citing her age. He accused Madonna of “the whole trying to be a sex kitten thing when you’re in your sixties”. The presenter brought up a series of explicit pictures the musician previously shared on social media.
Speaking to co-host Jeremy Kyle on the show, Morgan claimed: “I think she’s become the most grotesque, trainwreck embarrassment in the history of world entertainment.”
Morgan is exactly right in every single, solitary way, and every sentient being on the planet knows it.
But pointing out the painfully-obvious is now a grievous thought-crime - real transgression, put simply - and will not be tolerated in the New WEF Order.
This here is the only way you're allowed to talk about a superannuated megalomaniac, so take notice:
(Madonna) announced her intentions on social media in a video that features a game of truth or dare — a reference to her 1991 film of the same name — with a clique of pals including Jack Black, Amy Schumer, Judd Apatow and Lil Wayne.
The video is shot mostly in black and white and at times looks out of focus. Everyone appears a bit scruffy and like they’ve had a long night of loopy carousing. The effect is a video that is raw and self-consciously, gleefully transgressive, which is Madonna’s favorite kind of story to tell.
"Gleefully transgressive?"
Honestly.
"Jack Black, Amy Schumer, Judd Apatow and Lil' Wayne?"
Well, I guess they're transgressive if it's still 1997. But as far as I know, it's 2023 and they're all "legacy performers." But if your head is stuck in 1989 like Madonna's is, then they're downright futuristic.
Have a puke bucket ready? Good, because we're going to power through more of this drivel...
Zzzzzzzz...
At the height of her fame and influence in the 1980s and ’90s, Madonna managed to offend pretty much everyone who considered themselves part of the establishment or who believed themselves to be charged with setting moral codes of conduct and defining social acceptability. She rankled the sensibilities of the Catholic church, Moral Majority and evangelicals. She made a career out of punching up at the powerful and the privileged.
If anyone seriously thinks that a billionaire pop-star dunking on easy, officially-sanctioned targets like Catholics and Evangelicals is "punching up," then they are literally the stupidest, most clueless, most useless twiddle-heads on the entire planet. Period.
It doesn't even rise to the level of shooting fish in a barrel. It's just kicking a long-dead horse into a gelatinous paste by now.
So let's continue with wading through this sewer of stupid:
She stood on the side of outsiders. And for this — and her danceable beats and keen sense of aesthetics — she was beloved. She was especially vocal in speaking up for the LGBTQ community and celebrating elements of their culture, including ballroom and drag.
Most everything that made Madonna such a compelling cultural figure now has become a test, a challenge, a question. When she incorporated ballroom culture into her video for “Vogue,” she was applauded for shining a spotlight on this dance style created within the Black and Latin LGBTQ community. Now, there are conversations about cultural appropriation and whether she did enough to elevate the originators.
Oopsy! Some uncomfortable truth leaking through!
Everyone knows that Madonna is perhaps the most narcissistic, most attention-starved performer in modern history, and that's saying quite a devil of a lot. Every single thing she's ever done or said was ripped off - sorry, appropriated - from someone who probably never got a penny for their troubles.
People - "LGBTQ" or otherwise - only exist to serve the toxic narcissist's needs, who is essentially vampiric in all of her interpersonal dealings. Look it up if you don't believe me.
OUR LADY OF DEATH
Edgy!
Madonna's war on Nature and mortality has been a losing one, and she knows it. Hence the death imagery she's long mixed in with her boring, dated sacrilegious schtick. Thanatos is a jealous god.
Desperate for youth and relevance, Madonna is trying to sell to an audience who have no exposure whatsoever to traditional religious imagery other than as sacrilege. And at a point in the timeline when the halls of the Vatican are probably peopled almost entirely with actual or potential Madonna fans, it's all the more ridiculous.
And of course, sad.
Everything about this woman today is desperately, hopelessly sad.
The violation of the Virgin's Sacred Heart (occasionally depicted with a single sword) comes from the Tarot, in this case the Three of Swords.
Poor choice, Madge.
This card depicts a fundamentally sorrowful experience— tarot readers suggest this may be in the form of a lost relationship, an accidental death, or some other form of not just depression or malaise but deeply emotional sorrow.
From Arthur Waite's Pictorial Guide to the Tarot:
Three swords piercing a heart; cloud and rain behind. Divinatory Meanings: Removal, absence, delay, division, rupture, dispersion, and all that the design signifies naturally, being too simple and obvious to call for specific enumeration. Reversed: Mental alienation, error, loss, distraction, disorder, confusion.
What about seven swords, as we see there?
"A hasty decision, greed and/or thoughtless behavior, the individual acts in an impulsive fashion. It represents secret plans, hidden dishonor, frustration and the possibility of failure."
Yikes.
I think someone might be trying to throw a hex on you, Madge.
And we also need to take the Queen of Swords into account.
Waite again:
Her right hand raises the weapon vertically and the hilt rests on an arm of her royal chair the left hand is extended, the arm raised her countenance is severe but chastened; it suggests familiarity with sorrow. It does not represent mercy, and, her sword notwithstanding, she is scarcely a symbol of power.
Divinatory Meanings: Widowhood, female sadness and embarrassment, absence, sterility, mourning, privation, separation.
"Female sadness and embarrassment, absence, sterility, mourning, privation, separation?"
Sounds familiar, doesn't it?
Yeah, I foresee a lot of "rescheduled" concerts on this tour. Ouch.
Madge - a mother of six - then tries to hop on the Millennial/Zoomer extreme anti-natalist bandwagon, with this hideous display of death worship.
You see, murderous hatred of children and babies is fast becoming Woke America's favorite hobby, so obeyances must be made. Or else.
And do note the influence of Kali in that imagery...
... as well as Dio de la Muertos symbolism. Unfortunate choice, really.
Madge predictably genuflects to Santa Muerte, who as you all know is the dominant spirit of our debased Corporate-Covidian culture in the Age of Choronzon.
You see, Madonna and her ilk famously won the "culture war," only to find themselves out of ideas, out of outrages, out of taboos to transgress, and increasingly out of time. The proverbial Pyhrric victory.
None of them had any real talent, just sociopathy and hucksterism. It worked a charm on a bored, jaded, aimless and over-mediated populace, but now the deadly finger of the bored points at them, and there's nowhere left to hide.
And so it is Saint Death is coming for all of them and all of their works, and will consume them all entirely, in body, mind and spirit. And she doesn't give half a shit if you genuflect before her. Her favorite snacks are her most devoted acolytes, believe it.
I also couldn't help but be reminded of this image: another Eighties sex symbol, albeit one a bit less resilient than ol' NorMadonna Desmond.
Oh, well. It will all end up the same, either way.
Maybe Anna Nicole got off easy.
Knock it off, Grandma
And here's a bit of bad timing for you. I was shocked to see pushback - however fleeting - against
Ba'alenciaga's mock child sacrifices but did Madge even notice? I'm betting no. I'm sure she wouldn't care either way, even if she did.
What do I mean by that? Well, check out this story from The Source:
Several reports have confirmed that Pop icon Madonna is being accused of human trafficking and sexually exploiting children by a charity organization called the Ethiopian World Federation. The company website states that the EWF is “a civic service organization that pushes policies and advocates to change the laws that harm Black People.”
Madonna adopted four small children from Malawi, a country located in southeast Africa. In 2006, the “Material Girl” founded a charity called Raising Malawi, a not-for-profit organization that seeks to support orphans and at-risk children through health and education programs.
The group alleges that Madonna used her Malawian adopted son, David Banda, “for sexual exploitation and social experiments.” The petition cites the photos of David wearing women’s clothes, makeup, and jewelry. The EWF also claims that Madonna made false statements that David’s dad was absent when she applied for adoption.
That was a while back, so I don't know what's going on with all of this. But I do wonder how much it cost - or will cost - Madge to buy her way out of that mess.
Maybe that's why she needs to drag her ass around on tour again.
AH, I WAS WAITING FOR THIS...
Before we have a look at the last shot, let's obey the laws.
Knowles' Laws, I mean...
KNOWLES' FIRST LAW: Whenever a controversy over symbolism erupts in the media, it's usually disguising a completely different symbolic message altogether.
KNOWLES' SECOND LAW: The old state cults will be re-established under the cover of Woke.
Got it? Good. Let's proceed...
Oh FFS, the "Patriarchy." Honestly, Madonna. When's the last time you were even momentarily inconvenienced by anything or anyone? Pathetic.
Of course, when you have to glop on a layer of bullshit like that, there must be another message being obscured. There is, and it involves an old friend of ours...
Bullfighting and the killing of the sacred bull was commonly practiced among Koryos in ancient Iran and connected to the pre-Zoroastrian god Mithra. The cosmic connotations of the ancient Iranian practice are reflected in Zoroaster's Gathas and the Avesta.
The killing of the sacred bull (tauroctony) is the essential central iconic act of Mithras, which was commemorated in the mithraeum wherever Roman soldiers were stationed. The oldest representation of what seems to be a man facing a bull is on the Celtiberian tombstone from Clunia and the cave painting El toro de hachos, both found in Spain.
Who else, right?
