Interesting timing on this particular story, considering the event in question isn't even due to occur for another two years. Interesting that it appears following a suspicious murder/suicide in LA (with a possible Masonic subplot), and the 22 killed in the continuing anarchy in Mexico.
Perhaps it's somehow connected to the headline about the "sky treat" for the "lucky few," that we saw on Sunday night. Some of you might be reminded of the icon of the Black Sun, or perhaps even the titular icon of The Ring.
Appropriately grim tidings for a grim week.
