How Long Have We Been in the Simulation For?

Most people still don’t realize it, but Reality was forever broken in 1983. And now we are seeing many of the patterns of that year being replayed in strange and inexplicable ways.

My dearly-departed friend Tracy Twyman once told me that she believed everyone on Earth had all died on December 21, 2012 when Nibiru struck, and that we were all sent to Hell, in the form of a simulated reality.

I try not to believe that, but I do wonder if our current malfunctioning reality had something to do with the two separate nuclear near-misses in late 1983, especially the one on November 7th. I don’t think it’s a coincidence that the story in the first and only Stranger Things opened the night before.

Maybe the sim kicked in back then. Who knows anymore?

World War Three was on everyone’s mind back in 1983, and so it is that we’ve come full circle in forty-odd years. But while everyone was worried about the bomb, they weren’t worried about the beyond-thermonuclear effects that the technology that burst to light in 1983 would have on society and culture.

A lot of you may be too young to realize it, but the pre-war America you see in all these 1983 films has been annihilated, erased, wiped out more completely than any nuke could manage.

In its place are once-great cities succumbing to fentanyl-fueled, zombified barbarism, foreign colonization, and the rebuilding of Babel as a 24-hour stripmall shitshow.

We’re already in the midst of an armageddon of another type, as the Techno-Feudalist hellscape that our illegitimate overlords have been engineering
since (at least) 1983 bears down on us and the battle becomes not over Capitalism vs. Communism, but who will control the Luciferian technologies that control the world.

Which is exactly the real struggle that played out on Election Day, even if no one’s saying so out loud. But it is.

Then read this at the Rock Blog...

The early Eighties really were as magical and awesome as you’ve been led to believe, even as the seeds of our future heartaches were being planted in the dark. Me, I was 17 in November of 1983, and it’s a lost mystical land I like to escape to when the stars are just right ever since.

I really am so immensely grateful for so many things, but most of all to have been just the right age when youth culture was at its absolute zenith. We were the Kids of America, dammit, when that actually still meant something.

Looking back it stuns me how many all-time classic albums and singles were released that autumn some four decades ago. And with a chill in the air and the leaves falling from the trees, I thought it a good time to revisit that magical time and feel some major wist.

One of the best ways to return to those times is (of course) music, which was everywhere you turned. This was due to the rise of the New British Invasion and MTV, but other sounds were seeping through, like the new New Wave of Heavy Metal...

Read it all, Paul!
