Occult of Personality Interview, part II

Part II of the talk I did with Greg K at Occult of Personality is up now. This was an interesting experience- Greg was really digging deep with his line of questioning and we discussed a lot of topics I don't usually hit in my my podcast appearances. This was a more metaphysical line of inquiry, hitting more on the underlining themes of the work and not so much the work itself. It really forced me to think, and more importantly think of things I hadn't necessarily realized or concretized. More a late night chat over a couple of beers in the faculty lounge kind of thing than a more formal type of interview. I hope you guys enjoy it.

  2. Just listened to it. Really covered a lot. Deep stuff - lots to contemplate.

I'm gunna make a list of good interviews with you and post it on my blog. William Henry, Greg K, Aolis Kephas (sp?) and Red Ice Radio.

Alas, I spent two hours talking with you, and it was less an interview and more of a conversation. THe folks above dug a lot deeper than I did.

  3. Good show. The points you raised on the rhetorical tricks of sceptics chimed with a recent experience I had with one such rather militant example just a day before I listened to this interview. I'm not one myself to jump in say that all UFO sightings are for sure extra-terrestrial in origin, but I had a "debate" where I immediately saw through all these rhetorical devices and tricks this person was using.
    Quite an armoury.
Just trying to open up the scope of enquiry to various possibilities (and I was being gentle) provoked quite a reaction.

I think he had the professional sceptics guidebook in his possession.

  4. That was fascinating.

You don't get this sort of information anywhere else.

As you stated, we all have our own personal destiny. And our perspective is a crucial part of that destiny.

Our unique perspectives obviously contribute in the creation of the whole. And in these days and times of pop culture influence, it's important to mix the ingredients in honest and different ways.
I'm glad you've created this space and connected with other like minds to discuss the path. It's very empowering.

This type of movement keeps the new energy alive an well.

    Peace.

  5. Like everyone said before, very thought provoking. Excellent analysis, as usual. Very spot on. We really must question everything.

I would love to see you do more of this, as I do believe your analysis needs to reach a wider audience.

Keep up the good work, my friend. Cheers.

  7. Chris,
You stated "wishing for something to happen won't make it happen." But do you believe in the Law of Attraction? If you're mind is focused on rishes you will obtain riches and if you concentrate on doom, then doom will come to you. What do you think of this?

  8. I'm glad you guys enjoyed it- it's hard work for me, thinking out loud like that. Greg hit me with this big laundry list of really provocative questions and pushed me to really get down to it. Definitely bookmark his site and check out the subscription thing when he gets that going.
