I know we're all supposed to be politically-correct and be down on posthumanism, but from where I sit that's just more provincial, Fundamentalist brainwash. Our evolution will be messy to be certain, but for people like myself who deal with chronic pain or other serious health problems, convincing us of the perfection of the "creator's plan" is nothing short of a slap in the face, to say the very least. I'd trade this model in for a new and better one without much hesitation.
There's infinite room for improvement in the human condition and it's time we radically embrace that. Otherwise we cede our evolution to the most inhumane elements in our society, who, unfortunately, are very well-represented in the high-tech field (never mind the venture capital sphere). As it is, we are continuing to surrender our future to the worst de-evolutionary forces, who are gaining power everywhere; all of the varying Fundamentalisms who would destroy this world to fulfill their narcissistic delusions.
Certainly a radical, self-directed form of evolution is at the center of the Superhero mythos as well as the best science fiction. And my contribution to the discussion would be that electronics and genetic engineering are just part of the equation, and that the radical exploration of consciousness must be a part of the process as well.
Similarly, the Enlightenment model of the domination of nature is not a viable model for the future- some understanding of harmonizing our technology to this biosphere must be a part of this process. We have thousands of years of experience to draw upon- and I think that psychonauts have a lot to contribute to this process, as well as integrative environmentalists and enlightened practitioners of spiritual disciplines.
I'm tired of the nonsense being spoonfed to us by the media- the stupid, boring arguments we're supposed to have with each other over marginal issues. I'm tired of all of the false dichotomies of fundamentalism-versus-mindless hedonism that the corporate media wants us to subscribe to. I'm tired of a joyless, inhumane model of evolution, a robotic Borgworld vision of the future that any sane person would shrink from.
I'm tired of the pundits and talking heads who force us to accept this false science vs. spirit dichotomy, those clashing fundamentalisms. I'm tired of seeing people who should be making arguments for a better future being brow-beaten by prefabricated "attitudes" dreamed up in corporate thinktanks and fed to us through the mindless media. Most of all, I'm tired of people who don't subscribe to these false dichotomies being ignored in the public square. This is no accident.
All of these great myths that we discuss mean absolutely nothing if they are not battle-cries for an Evolutionary Army. Religion should not be about faith or belief - it should be about extraordinary knowledge and extraordinary experience. It should be about putting that knowledge and experience into action. It should be about embracing a radical transformation of the human condition, no matter how many obstacles stand in the way.
Think of all the great visionaries of the past 100 years- Jules Verne, Nietzsche, Nicola Tesla, Carl Jung, Alan Turing, Jack Kirby, Philip K. Dick, Stanley Kubrick, Albert Hoffman, Buckminster Fuller - they must rolling in their graves. We have these amazing, unprecedented communication tools at our disposal and tens of millions of people simply use them to watch cellphone videos of a dog licking its balls. Not good enough.
None of it is. The only place you see people talking about the future is in science fiction and comic books and video games. Certainly not in the corporate news media. That has to change.
It may well come time that those who want to evolve will by necessity be forced to separate from those who want to drag this world back to the Dark Ages. But before that happens a rational and humane argument can - and must - be made for self-directed, radical evolution. This is not a simple matter of electronics or genetics, but an all-encompassing, holistic approach to solving our problems and expanding our consciousness.
We need all hands on deck for this, otherwise you can kiss your grandchildren's future goodbye. The way it stands, they'll be lucky if they live in a post-apocalyptic dystopia.
The first step in this process is constructing a culture- which simply means a communal discussion- that is not based on the old paradigms. That doesn't fall into the same old traps put out by the think-tanks and their mouthpieces in the media. That doesn't pay any attention to totalitarian superstitions and their witch doctors - no matter how cleverly they package themselves- and isn't shy to call bullshit on their shills when they come sniffing around.
I think Synchromysticism can play a very important role in this culture, because it is straining towards a new understanding of causality. As can a deeper understanding of our new mythologies and the very powerful impulses behind them, even if the self-appointed guardians of those myths don't approve.
Forgive the rant, but sometimes you just need to say what needs to be said. We now return to our regularly scheduled program...

'NUFF FRAGGIN' SAID, AND VERY WELL AT THAT!
Regarding the future, we can only call it as we see it. The current leaders are running the world into the ground, to rise from the ashes, and we are only staring and calling out the obvious while assuming they have some sort of mystic power. It's just the way they do things. Now that we know their playbook, shouldn't we be acting to stop this gruesome cycle from repeating, effectively ending war and bringing peace on earth (without the help of religion or politics)?
Tommy- I'm talking about taking control of our evolution. I've really come to believe that being in this constant, impotent opposition to the "leaders" is just another form of mind control.
You have your own mystical power- start using it. I think the first step is having the courage to admit that the power is yours- and you have to take responsibility for it, while others may not.
cheers, Orgone.
Chris, I was just talking with a friend about this same issue. We were talking about my dislikes with the conspiracy con (which I saw 1 lecture of today). I was at odds with the content and the way it is delivered. It (i.e. conspiracy) always has an "other" or external source (not you). The thinking and solutions tend to be as well (technology). I think the shift you are talking about is essential to making the evolutionary shift. Making the problem AND solution in your hands puts the problem AND solution in OUR hands. This is the necessary shift. (BTW, Dark City is awesome!)
Cheers all!
It's not exactly news that our experience isn't all it could be - the human genome is far from perfect, and I grow weary of the constant preaching (for example, Star Trek) that the genetic code is somehow sacred and shouldn't be messed with. IMHO, Kahn was at least asking the right questions, as was the Borg Queen.
One of my core assumptions is that humanity is about to evolve in a really amazing way, and in a way not necessarily "approved". Of course, that's just fundamentalism of a different sort.
Great rant, thanks.
Word veri: "proft", as in profit, or prophet?
Good Rant Chris,
I still stand firm in "not forgiving" the so called world leaders, sorry. Have to disagree there...seems like a "gut feeling" on being back doored into forgiving them and "working with them" to make a better world, for whom? Snow-balled old ideas with a fresh coat of paint to make them "seem fresh and concerned for our future"?
I do see your point of view and thinking, well said. Clean house and put those who genuinely have those grand-children's futures best intentions at heart in charge, well not in charge but leading the way to open communication(s) with all people of the world, we cannot just continue to have a select few in charge of the world's future. Those so called advanced technologies need to be used by all to bring the world together in deciding it's fate.
Be well bro!
Cheers to my Michaels- maybe all we can do right now is start a new conversation. But that beats the hell out of the status quo. I'll tell you what the conspiracy is- it's to fill our heads with nothing but defeatism and dissolution.
PS I'm not quite sure what you're referring to, Skaggsie, but you keep doing what you gotta do.
I don't pay any attention to that stuff anymore, Ryan. We've reached a point where people aren't even dreaming anymore. I'm not quite sure how it happened but we're as beaten down as people living in the Soviet Union in the 80s. Which is why you have to turn all that brainwash off and start doing writing up wishlists for potential futures.
Everybody is being heard these days except for people who want to evolve, who want to expand their inner horizons, who want to imagine new forms of work and community. Maybe Humanity really isn't native to this biosphere- particularly intelligent humanity. Maybe we need to act as if this planet is going to wipe us all out and replace us with talking chimps if we don't get our act together. It certainly seems to me that a de-evolutionary entropy is the default setting in this world- maybe we have to rise above that once and for all or our children will pay the price.
Right on!!! Loved what you had to say, and I am with you, LOL. I would gladly trade this model in without hesitation, LOL. Thanks for the wonderful words.
YES! I'm so bored with what I see as the same ole story on TV, the one that's played out for what seems like thousands of years now.
Everyone seems to wonder why we don't live like the Jetsons, but few are creating the dream. I did see one group that looked very promising, The Venus Project (they were featured on Zeitgeist:Addendum):
http://www.thevenusproject.com/
Perhaps all this Obama watching is getting you down, Chris?
Right on!
You said a lot that I feel internally, but I have a hard time articulating it. You said what I feel. What I know, on a deep level.
Why isn't the world dealing with this shit? I can't dwell on that.
The harder question, why do I feel so paralized? What can I do - RIGHT NOW?
And, just so you know - Today, I watched a really cute cat video on you-tube.
Funny you should mention that, Chad- new facelift on the same old, same old. I was feeling a little down in the mouth for letting his Egypt shenanigans waste another day of mine, but I find it all so hilariously ridiculous I don't worry too much about it.
Right on, CDH!
Clelly- I think 90s irony did so many things in- I remember that the whole Cyberpunk thing was big- as was real conspiracy research, not the garbled Fundamentalist backwash we see now. I guess the right wing ascendancy played a part in that as well. But we have things like Fringe and BSG and some other interesting things happening which are asking questions in a fictional context at least. As well as the continuing popularity of the superhero meme- I was very happy to see Wolverine be such a hit despite predictions that ST was going to knock it out. Maybe the next ST will bring a little of the TOS juice back to the table.
I'm not entirely sure what you mean by "Fundamentalist backwash". Is it the NWO stuff you believe is false, because Pat Robertson was using the term to describe the hulking, mechanical artillery behemoth we call the World Government (even though he is playing directly into their hands, whether he knows it or not)?
Is it the "Rapture in 2012" stuff? That gets on my nerves as well. I think too many "new agers" have bought into it. The idea of "some spirits ascending while others don't" is very Christian-eugenics, and although I am extremely out of touch with my fellow humans, I can see a lot of people thinking they will reach the next paradigm while the "evil people" won't, and we don't have to worry because everything will be magically fixed. Oh, the "evil doers" are already well-prepared for the jump, if it happens...
about same old things
first when i've stepped on "the promise land" i had the impression that i've travelled back in time ~20 years... people didn't understand me...they've told me that i am too ignorant for the american way of life, that i am unable to appreciate all the result this country showed for the last few decades, how can i clame that it looks just like my ex-communist homeland 20 years ago.
after a few years and several visits of "the promise land" I still think that it looks like ex-communist countries in the past ...only it evolves in the opposite direction this year is more close to the image of the 60's....I'm awaiting the new revolution of '56 there...and they are not far at all.
*Sigh*
Finally someone else reaches the "I´m mad as hell and i wont take that anymore"-level.
Too much passiveness going around, even the "enlightened" ones seem to wait for their salvation as something that comes from outside and is put onto them by ...well just another form of higher authority.
But a slave will always believe, that there is something higher than himself instead of seeing himself as part of the higher authority he/she him/herself is, thus beeing the higher authority in person.
If i am part of this world and of this universe i AM this world or this universe, merely using a human(or any other sentient) form, to conciously perceive myself and watch my evolution happen as i create it.
Anyway... i wish there´d be more "righteous anger" (one that brings change, not destroys) in the Blogosphere.
It´s too comfortable to find a niche where you don´t feel alone with your thoughts, but if you want to face personal change and thus environmental change, you have to go through this dark night of the soul alone, before you can face the day.
(i hope this made some kind of sense^^)
Greetings from Germany
edit function would be nice^^
I enjoyed the post and I agree for the most part. The only thing I have to add (and believe me, i'm mostly preaching to myself) is that perhaps we shouldn't look at our salvation as something "in the future" because I think that door is here for us, all the time.
To be free (and free others) from the pain, suffering, violence, and stupidity we perceive is a valuable goal. But I can't shake the feeling that all the fuckery is just as much a part of the whole, as are the highest ideals of our nature. That is, the fuckery has a place, just as the ecstasy does.
From our perspective we absolutely should aim to be a positive force for humanity and the earth. But our perspective is still a limited perspective, and not the perspective that the creative force of evolution seems to share. I do not claim to have any kind of understanding of this force, mind you, but i think it reveals itself now and then.
I resonate very closely with Alex Grey's "Gaia" painting on this issue-alexgrey.com/a-gallery/gaia.html. I compare it to a rock tumbler. When you throw your rocks in a rock tumbler, you don't give a damn that the rocks are getting knocked around and ground up. You have a project. And occasionally, you pop open the tumbler, and take a look. Nice and pretty yet? NOPE. Back in the tumbler with you.
We're in the tumbler, in the forge, in the refiner's fire, knocked between these polarities of inspiration and malaise, ecstasy and misery, creation and destruction, because that IS the creative force of evolution at work. But no matter what we're put through, I truly believe we are loved, more than we will ever understand.
So yes indeed, let's "radically embrace improvement in the human condition." Right on. And, let's knock down these incredibly stupid and greedy oligarchs on our way.
But, lets not expect that to be our evolutionary salvation, because we are in the evolutionary salvation, all the time. Sucks, i know.
Chris, I'm part cyborg with 2 titanium knees, so I remember what it was like to live with pain. While knee replacement helped me tremendously, I long for a more spiritual-organic technology to perfect health.
This weekend I watched Caprica, the pilot for the new prequel series to Battlestar Gallactica. This movie haunted me. Are we wise enough yet for self-directed evolution? I want it to be so, but I'm not sure. The 1st sentient cylon had the soul of a 17 year old teen female.
OMG I have a 17 year old daughter. We're doomed!
Thanks for the comments- I will get back to them.
But here's something I want you all to consider- if anyone does not think this society has badly devolved, go read some ordinary magazines from the the 60s or early 70s- then go read those same magazines today.
You will feel it like a punch in the gut- the dumbing-down will take the wind out of you.
I have some old Life magazines from the late 60s I got at a used book stores- Looking at them and really seeing how much we've allowed ourselves to be brain-starved was the real inspiration behind this rant.
Idiocracy is rising- are you going to stand by and watch the world be given a lobotomy?
I have no doubt there is a concerted effort to dumb-down, especially in our educational system.
But I think the dumbing-down of media is partially a result of the fact that the kind of media you're talking about is reaching a far wider mass audience than it ever used to. That is, in the not-too-distant past it would be assumed that people below a certain intellectual level would not even be able to read, or would not have the inclination to purchase the book or magazine.
And recently, the "mass audience" is shrinking more and more everyday. Anyone with even a slight amount of capability with a web-enabled computer has more ability than ever to consume only the information and entertainment they want, and filter out anything else, with greater and greater precision. I work in advertising and we are dealing with this dynamic every day.
So, general-interest media is trying to appease advertisers and and an audience that is very much "lowest common denominator." Meanwhile, those of us with more "refined" tastes keep tuning them out. And so it goes.
Oh Mark- I have to disagree. The circulations on those magazines was much, much higher when they actually had content.
This is an argument I keep having with editors- they think everything has to be dumbed down and set these brutal word-counts, but what they are doing is punishing people who do read in a hopeless quest for non-existent readers.
I do hope these electronic readers catch on, and then the whole issue of paper costs can finally be done away with. As with the paper itself, since processing is so toxic.
Tommy- You hit the nail on the head. It's all eugenics, genocide, one world government vs. eugenics, genocide, one world government. Which means the same people writing these policies are tricking people into believing they're opposing the policies.
Ela- I'm sure you got a pretty good education when you were growing up. Certainly a lot better than what's on offer in most places these days. Well, except for China and India and other places that have been chose as the future superpowers.
Dynamitrios- Well, no one is allowed to have these discussions on CNBC or FOX or CNN or wherever. The rules of discourse mean that only pre-approved paradigms can be argued over.
PS if you register on google you can edit your posts.
Mark- Well, really, all we can do is talk. But we can't do that past a certain point because the rules of discourse are dictated by commercial breaks and paper costs. And that idiocy has bled into the Internet. And everyone gets discouraged and goes off and does their own thing while the worst elements of our genepool flood the airwaves.
Very simply, all we can do right now is make a decision- do we want to move forward or do we want this symbiotic relationship between unfettered greed and rampant stupidity to destroy our economy, environment and genome?
Oyin- Like I said, thank god for Ronald Moore. The only place we can get intelligent discussion of humanity's future is on the SyFy channel.
Hello Chris I been lurking around this site for sometimes now and just wanted to thank you for your article.
I can assure you people on a global level are waking up spiritualy, for the past years I've tried talking some senses into my friends and familly.
I had the chance to travel a lot in my youth and met some truly incredible earthling, asian, african, american, no matter where i landed it seemed that i would always end up meeting the same souls.
a drunk tourist once stoped me in the street of seoul and repeatdly said to me "it's similar but different" then left wihout uttering another word. He took me years to actually get it but he was right, we're all made from the same block spiritualy only our outer shell is diverse. Only when we will combine science and spiritualy we will be able to step into the next obligatory evolution.
Sorry for the long rambling and typos english isn't my first language.
Conspirations, many futures and presents... but what happens when epistemologics and frontier science meet? We may begin to see signs of the simulation, or reaity augmented á la Matrix. Maybe that´s what many shamans, channels, artists and scientists have been playing with, from Lascaux and Altamira to Steiner, Jung, Philip K Dick to John Mack, Jack Vallée, and you too Chris.
A interesting article by Ted Twietmeyer about the "simulation" or time jumps:
http://rense.com/general86/jump.htm
Great post, Chris and I loved "the rant" and am all for expanding consciousness.
But as my educator friends lament our populace and youth are being deliberately "dumbed down." It's apparently our education edifice these days, esp. since W. Bush's NCLB (No Child Left Behind.) NCLB requirements have been the bane of educators' since its inception and the states were willing to let "real" education falter just to keep up testing scores for NCLB.
Obviously, the youth in our education system are a representation of the evolutionary halt of critical, creative and even scientific thinking.
As an aside, Disney Channel isn't helping our youth. Where are the quality shows like the old "Family Matters" and "Full House"? Instead Disney pelts us with cult idol worship (Hannah "HM" Montana and now "Jonas") or magic ("Wizards of Waverly Place"- about a family of wizards?)
And Disney had a shout out of sorts to you tonight, Chris. The Jonas Brothers new show "Jonas" aired a new episode tonight. It began with the "brothers" searching for the remote for the tv as they stated: "Our favorite show: "Leprechaun Hunter" is about to start."
Wow! I immediately thought of you Chris and your leprechaun vision.
The Jonas Brothers then don their over-sized leprechaun hats and watch the show's intro: "Welcome to Leprechaun Hunter. Are you ready to help catch a wee fellow?" The episode ends with the brothers again donning their huge green leprechaun hats as the show Leprechaun Hunter adds: "Wow, that wee fellow sure can hide!"
Chris, I have no idea what all that was about but the episode writers went out of their way to emphasize leprechauns. In your words: Absolutely amazing!
Thanks for your great work here, Chris. And please continue the awesome rants!
Sincerely,
SoapFan
Daniel and Citius- I think you're both on the track. What we need to be exploring is the visionary option, the shamanic option. The obstacles are so daunting. There's no guarantee of success.
But sitting around and passively letting this horrid spirit of entropy take over is a guarantee of failure. I think simply by opening ourselves up to possibility will make a huge difference. Just asking "why" can shake the foundations of the earth.
Soapie- the Oannes Bros are from NJ, which makes it all the more synch-o-licious.
As to the dumbing down, check out this piece by David Fideler- it's a revision of a great article he did in Gnosis called Stranded in Flatland
I have the original article somewhere. I should definitely scan it in and make it available to everyone. But the dumbing-down thing is probably the most troubling aspect of our dilemma, since so much seems to spring from that reality.
I enjoy reading your blog regularly, so don't take this the wrong way. When you mentioned convincing people with chronic pain of a "creator's plan" as being a slap in the face, you worded it in a way that spoke for all. I have dealt with rheumatoid arthritis for 12 years, since the age of 19, and I have no less doubt in a creator's plan, nor do I feel that debilitating chronic pain is a slap in the face, just part of a broken world.
No, I'm talking about people who say that it's your duty to suffer- that's what I was referring to. This is a broken world and it's our responsibility to try to fix it.
Beautiful man once again. I think the 'true key' for us all, is simply to CREATE. Whatever it is that each of us can do (write, draw, play music, paint, dance, etc.), when we are all truly 'in the moment', in the 'zone', etc., that is when the universe is 'speaking' through us all. Turn off all the damn conspiracy b.s., and the news, movies, even friggin music sometimes and just create. We've all got to MAKE ourselves sit down, and create.
Everyone's so busy running around reading and looking at whatever everyone else is saying and doing, but not creating anything themselves. WE ALL NEED TO CREATE. That is the truly lost art of humanity that we've all been brainwashed out of. Don't leave it to a 'few' people to entertain you. ENTERTAIN YOURSELVES with your own CREATIVE ABILITY.
Keep up the great work Chris...
The amount you create on a daily basis is a lesson for us all.
I was thoroughly indoctrinated into a fundamentalist religion as a girl and as a young woman. I recall being warned not to look inside of myself for answers, because that was "dangerous". And now, having discovered in mid life Jung, the gnostic texts, etc., I am thoroughly convinced that I must journey inside, and after I started that quest, I will never stop. How could I?
As a gradeschooler in public school in Oklahoma, I recall sitting cross legged on the floor in the library, devouring the books of mythology, all of which of course flew in the face of my fundamentalist upbringing. I didn't know what those strange and beautiful and compelling stories meant then, or what they would come to mean to me as a grown woman, but they have changed my life.
I ask myself what I can do on the outside? How can I fight back? I'm raising my children with these myths, these tales, and permission and encouragement to do the inner exploration. I tell them what I believe about myself and every other human being, that we are the sparks of the divine in a world of forms. An imperfect world--that is filled with light and with dark and suffering at the same time. That when we're awake, we do have an inner power that makes the archons themselves quake and cringe in envy!
It's funny. I've been a horsewoman all of my life, keeping several on my small ranch, and they are great teachers about being awake and alive. And now I'm a beekeeper, orchard grower, chicken and just as of this year--pig (!) farmer. Seems to me that there's some gnosis even in an act as simple as raising hogs on a small scale and in a humane way.
Chris, I'm very grateful for this outburst of yours. I'm heartened by what many of the commenters here have to say. I have been feeling much the same lately.
Pax. Kimberly
Transcend- Creativity is a royal road, there's no doubt about it. I think that through intense creative effort we can access the same power centers of our consciousness that the Ayahuasca shamans do, although the energy may be more diffuse. And I love that idea of entertaining yourself as well. Tremendous power in that kind of exploration.
Kimberly- I think doing exactly what you describe is the way to fight back. Don't be dragged down to the level of the herd, don't be intimidated away from learning. And look inside- and outside.
You guys humble me! I was just having a rant- I guess I struck a chord that a lot of people are feeling now. I'm grateful for that and awestruck by your responses. It's good to see people talking- that's how it all starts.
Great thoughts Chris,
I am 48 and came to the same point years ago.I have slowly weaned myself off of the msm control mechanism.
For my sanity I never watch TV anymore or very little.I only check once a day on an online news source for any strange headlines or red letter news.No print media, magazines etc.Now this is where it gets touchy and hard for some. You have to turn the radio off,I mean never listen to it,no news ,no pop songs, nothing.I can't tell you how much it helps. No mp3 player either.Learn to listen to your own thoughts and the sounds and vibrations and colors of the universe. And start meditation and yoga and just listen to the universe send you visions and messages.I have even started having clear dreams again.Again,no radio, just try it.It is fun to hear people talk about some news and not know what the hell they are talking about.Don't let the msm tell you what to think about. There is nothing worse than to have some crappy pop tune going over and over in your head.TURN THE RADIO OFF.
Yes you did hit a chord Chris, sorry if my little rambling didn't make sense..
I hear your powerful words and to say the least, many feel the same. My little muse was more geared towards "building a new world for future children", surely stepping outside the "box of social engineering" is key to creating, creativity, but the PTBs [Powers that be] won't go away with our ignoring them [wish it WAS that simple!], which was my point on not "forgiving them" for what atrocities they've already committed.
However, this route of creative consciousness is what's needed I feel, for evolving, and that little energy window of 2012 just might help along the way...the bloodlines have to go in order for a healthier, newly created society to emerge. People with eyes to see and ears to hear, are stepping outside the social norms, but systems like public schooling, the economy, etc. run by greedy Corporations and Corporate Governments, have to evolve as well, any suggestions?
Be well bro! Keep up the great work!
Nothing- Interesting you focused on radio- there's something especially insidious about it these days- particularly the commercials.
Skaggsie- Oh man- the public schools. Well, I did all of my learning outside the school walls, and it continues to enrich my life.
We have to really come to grips with the reality of the situation and figure how to survive within it. That is guaranteed not to be an ideal situation, but doing nothing is a guarantee of disaster.
But here's a story I want to hear your thoughts on- we had a recent story surface about endemic abuse in Ireland, committed by a fraternal order called the Christian Brothers. Horrific, systematic abuse of children, many of whom were handicapped. And yet, I seem to be the only one who wrote about or even mentioned it.
Outisde of a bit on Icke's newsfeed, no one in the so-called conspiracy media talked about it either, though they'll weave all sorts of fascinating tales about the Illuminati or whatever. But not a word on a truly horrifying story with all of the elements- state abuse, fraternal orders, cover-ups- why the f*ck did everyone ignore this story?
Hmmm, the conspiracy people will write about all of the wrongdoings by obscure cults and ignore what's in front of their faces? I'd almost start to think that the conspiracy media is a front created to scapegoat mostly harmless minorities like pagans or occultists and cover up massive crimes by church and state.
Aww, that's just crazy talk, I know.
Anyhow, I'm sure you're not familiar with the story- here's a link:
Thousands raped in Ireland's Christian Brothers schools
I'm definitely interested in reading your thoughts on the subject. Let me know what you think.
THanks for the rant--it's good to get angry now and then!
cliche as it may be, i'm working on an album that will put some of it into action.
A mix of John Lennon, Mick Jagger, Tom Waits, Tom Petty, your favorite 80's electronic synths, your favorite punk rock band, a little Nirvana, top it off with some Tupac, and a dash of Eminem, and you're almost there
ugh ugh ugh ah yeah!
Wow, that is crazy, and yet, I guess not surprising.
I think you mainly struck such a chord cuz most everybody here is well versed in the 'agenda', and then acting on our built-in 'protect myself and the ones I love' instinct, but then don't know where to go from there. Most people get hung up in that area of feeling a bit 'hopeless'.
I think our friend Aeolus Kephas' book The Lucid View (http://www.amazon.com/Lucid-View-Investigations-Occultism-Awareness/dp/1931882304/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1244510394&sr=8-1) is a must read for anyone feeling they are a bit stuck in the created reality of our 'masters'.
It really gives a nice point to launch off from...
and then of course read 'Our Gods Wear Spandex' if you knuckleheads haven't done so already... ;)
Here is a bold, highly stylized, hypnotic and magical viral video sponsored by http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/PPR_(company)
The film, which is available for free release until June 14, speaks for an eco-evolution for saving the planet. It's dealing with the symptoms, not the source, and cherish the sun as could be expected:
http://www.youtube.com/homeproject
An the alternative might be eco-revolution, and I couldn't agree with you more when you said "what we need to be exploring is the visionary option, the shamanic option."
Cheers.
Chris,
I did miss the story, perhaps during a time when I was very busy. Thanks for the link!
It could have been a wild mix there back then--for Monarch programming, and the mere fact that it's just plain wrong to suppress "sexual nature" [i.e. priests and nuns sworn to celibacy, wtf? I always told my catholic grandmother that was just unnatural and wrong]. Obviously, suppressing that caused aggression, violence, and sexual deviance. BUT, as we know, the Catholic Church has always covered everything up.
There also may have been a more sinister purpose---placing the most vile of those of the Church there to perform ritualistic torture, robbing those children of their souls and youthful energy. As we know, in the conspiracy field, rituals are a huge part of the deception(s) and children or the innocent are the prized victims. I don't want to belittle this situation, but all avenues must be considered. Were those kids ritualistically tortured to "feed off" their energy and souls? There is a strong possibility.
My guess is a mishmash of possibilities weaved together. The cover-ups and denials by religious leaders is no surprise, however disturbing. Ritualistic abuse, denials, lies, and no arrests of the abusers! Pretty powerful stuff. Is there any significance to the fact it took place in Ireland? Hmmm. Not sure on that one.
Thanks for pointing this out.
Be well Chris!
Good deal, Skaggsie- spread the word, too.
You hit the nail on the head, brother- celibacy, castration, sexual repression, sexual guilt- these have always been the foremost tools of repression and control throughout history- and it's almost always children who suffer the most for it.
Kneale was really on to something. It's just he had the equation in reverse- it's the chimp in us that has the bloodlust. We don't have to look any farther than that.
In absolute terms, American society currently has way, way more 'smart' people than it needs to run a (currently) first world economy. Look at the number of phds versus openings, or simply the sheer quantity of people to the right of one deviation on the bell curve. The 'dumbing down' of the mass media is merely evidence that the huge (relative, not absolute) mass of 'smart' people prefer more varied and sophisticated stimulation now available. At the same time society as a whole perhaps has grown dumber, but why should anyone care? It was already far 'smarter' than maintaining the status quo needed it to be, and maintaining the status quo is all our society is concerned with.
The American people (or the half that vote) currently believe that the central state *should* be responsible for the economy, the environment and our health. A country with 300+ mil. people but one political process dooms all its citizens to effective disenfranchisement. It is inescapable that fringe elements (us) really have no say in a situation like this, and attempts to 'change society' are vanity. Look at the persistence of the war on weed, for example. It is a question of incentives: distributed costs and concentrated benefits.
In light of this, 'giving up' on influencing mass man, and by extension societal change is a foregone conclusion. This is not defeatism; by writing about things outside the mainstream, you already have. I know none of this is a revelation to you, but isn't it relevant to your rant? As long as it persists, the state will imagine our future, the masses will follow, and we will talk among ourselves, no?
Chris,
I am truly sorry for the pain and the bad health you are experiencing. But as a born again Christian I must disagree with your statement that the human body is somewhat deficient and does not meet your standards. Sorry, but God made our bodies perfect and because of the sin of our ancestors and ourselves from birth we are paying for that sin. We can never pay it back fully as Jesus Christ did that on Calvary. I understand you don't believe in that but stop for a minute and think do you actually think we came from apes? Well thats if you believe the current alien deception that is being foisted on the earth's population through movies and governments. Check out David Flynn, Lynn Marzulli and Steve Quayle for starters. People today are destroying their bodies, mind and spirit by not excercising, eating right and having faith in their life. The human body as is is as good as it gets. Unless you believe the NWO crowd who are into humanism, bionics, and new age spiritualism. New age which when in a state of trance are being possessed by demons who talk about what? how Jesus Christ was a lightworker and how their is no God. Now why would aliens from millions of miles away care about religion? Because they are not aliens but demons of the Nephilim who perished in the flood. Again, may the Holy Spirit help you to see your way to Jesus Christ before its too late.
