"Telescope the Size of Earth"

A. Magnius Publius points us to the 17/33 synchs of this article:

The nearly continuous 33-hour observation will be conducted on Jan 15-16 as part of a demonstration at the opening event for the International Year of Astronomy 2009 (IYA 2009) in Paris.

17 telescopes in Asia, Australia, Europe, North America and South America, including several operated from The University of Manchester’s Jodrell Bank Observatory, will take part in the mammoth project.

“By combining information from such widely separated radio telescopes we can produce incredibly sharp images with up to one hundred times better resolution than those available from the best optical telescopes”, said Simon Garrington, Director of the UK’s MERLIN/VLBI National Facility.
Interesting. Why now?

UPDATE: 17th Century Moon maps now on display in England.

  1. I also have found the fact that '09 is the year of Astronomy quite interesting. We should be seeing events like this one happening across the globe all year! Wonder if they are tracking/looking for anything in particular???

  2. The stars behind the two "mutual" figures in the first picture form the constellation of Orion (honestly, it's the easiest one to point out) better known as Osiris (17. You know, there was a restaurant where I used to live in Atlanta that was called O'Ryan's) with a Rising Sun behind them (Horus?). IYA sounds like Ea if you say it out loud.

Sounds like a serious project to me.

  4. Tood, I think Tommy just answered your question!

I'm still not seeing the Orion thing. I looked at that map and I don't get the correlation. I'm still liking the figures reperesenting Sirius/binary star.

  7. Here, I outlined the constellation in the pic from your post. I'm just familiar with the basic star layout of Orion because I see it so much in real life (in the sky) and in a ton of corporate logos. (like Budweiser) Out of all the stars in the sky, why Orion?

  8. Ah, excellent, Tommy. Orion is the home of Osiris, for starters...

I just wondered if this infamous 17 had anything to do with this.

  10. hey Tommy, how do you hotlink? The belt is also significant because
it points to Sirius and in your pic highlighted by beinng hidden behind the coming together of the two silhouettes.

Did anyone read "The Curious Case of the Arkansas Diamonds"? It contains 17's and 33's. Made me think of Jake's "Brad Pitt and the Death of Death" because of the the title similiarity.

'Whoever tries to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life will preserve it.'
    Luke 17:33

    http://www.smithsonianmag.com/history-archaeology/The-Curious-Case-of-the-Arkansas-Diamonds.html

Chapter 33 of Job has 33 lines and the last is "If not, hearken thou unto me: Hold thy peace, and I will teach thee wisdom."

In Romans Chapter 9 line 11, of unborn twins one must be chosen and it's Jacob

I too immediately noticed the "Diamond " story soon after it was posted, but at that time they showed another picture of the diamond compared to(I thought) the backside of a dime showing the Fascia (see http://buzz.yahoo.com/articles/y_featured/24/1/). However, the current story has a copper Lincoln penny(Freed the Slaves - may be BLOOD DIAMONDS) for size comparision. The name ERIC (Norse: ever/over+ ruler) BLAKE (olde english: pale or black)hit me istantly. The bit about being a 33yr old carpenter was blatant.

P.S. Chris, I am starting my own blog for this type of ancedotal filler.

So as not to cludder-up your site. I hope you will allow me to link, in the near future.

  12. Chris,

Thanks for the call out! In case I haven't shared this already, a Midrashic variation of the Book of Enoch states that as punishment for being the leader of the 200'watchers' who cohabited with human women and begot giant offspring, the rebel angel leader Shemyaza was punished by having one of his eyes blinded and then he was hung upside down in the heavens - in the constellation of ORION.

Perhaps the Sirius/Annunaki cultists are checking up on their old boss? I also read on www.raidersnewsupdate.com last year that the Vatican has significant financial interests and backing for the world's largest optical and radio telescopes. The late Father Malachi Martin revealed that the potentates in the Vatican had a keen interest in observatories so they could 'See what was coming.' Curiouser and curiouser...
