The First Christmas and Three/17

Man, the hits just keep on coming. The Telegraph reports:
Astronomers have calculated that Christmas should be in June, by charting the appearance of the 'Christmas star' which the Bible says led the three Wise Men to Jesus.

They found that a bright star which appeared over Bethlehem 2,000 years ago pinpointed the date of Christ's birth as June 17 ...

The researchers claim the 'Christmas star' was most likely a magnificent conjunction of the planets Venus and Jupiter, which were so close together they would have shone unusually brightly as a single "beacon of light"..."
Wow, Jesus linked with 3 and 17, and the Beacon? This reminds me that Obama's victory speech was 17 minutes long, and that he mentioned the Beacon (again).

Also, we are well into the month of the Twins with this new Christmas, which we looked at in the first Space/Gods feature. Speaking of our new Leo president, a bonus factoid:

...Mr Reneke pinpointed the planetary conjunction, which appeared in the constellation of Leo, to the exact date of June 17 in the year 2BC.

UPDATE: Exactly 1,954 years after this birth of Jesus, the Antichrist died in a lab explosion. And what did we just hear about Leo? The Telegraph story has a bonus South Park-like video.

UPDATE II: Atlantis Rising on the big screen! Based on a comic book, apparently. Well, actually based on an old Stan Lee/Jack Kirby issue of Fantastic Four, but whatever. Wait- that has nothing to do with the main topic. Or does it?
