Clown Show 2008: Sad, but True

Only in America could there be such rancor and ill will over two candidates whose actual philosophy of governance is so indistinguishable. And the sad fact remains that whoever wins will merely shill for policies already decided for them by the think tanks and NGOs. The only difference will be whose donors get the biggest share of the loot.

Might there be something else at work, hiding behind all of the huffing and puffing and yelling and screaming?

    I am always amazed at the messianic cast that has been placed on Obama. Let's be real. He's a lawyer, a politician, a millionaire and a member of the American gentry.

    If Obama wins, the only thing that will change is Limbaugh's ratings (through the roof) and the frequency of acts of domestic terrorism (through the roof).

    I feel that when the hysteria dies down and people realize that nothing has changed, the social and racial divides in America will only become more pronounced.
